Once Upon a Time: The Unforgettable Reunion

Once upon a time, in a beautiful college nestled by the hills, there were two girls, Suba and Janani. Both were known for their vibrant energy, kind hearts, and the strong bond of friendship they shared. They had met during their first year at college and quickly became inseparable. Whether they were studying, exploring new hobbies, or simply laughing over shared stories, they were always together.

One day, their college organised a much-anticipated tour to a distant tourist spot. The plan was to visit ancient temples, waterfalls, and a breathtaking hilltop view. Both Suba and Janani were excited. They had packed their bags and eagerly waited for the day they would embark on the journey together.

The morning of the tour arrived. The college bus stood ready, filled with students bubbling with excitement. But as the students started boarding the bus, Suba noticed that Janani was nowhere to be seen. Worried, Suba sent her several messages, but there was no response. Time was ticking, and the bus couldn’t wait any longer. Reluctantly, Suba got on the bus, hoping Janani would join them at the last moment, but the bus left without her.

As they travelled through scenic roads and lush greenery, Suba couldn’t stop thinking about Janani. It was unlike her to miss such a trip. They had been planning it for weeks! She asked a few of Janani's classmates, but no one seemed to know why she hadn't shown up. The day felt incomplete without her best friend.

The bus eventually reached the tourist spot, a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains and a sparkling river. Suba tried to enjoy the tour, but her mind was still on Janani. She walked around the temples, admired the beauty of the waterfalls, but it wasn’t the same. She was about to give up on having a good time when, suddenly, towards the end of the day, she saw a familiar figure in the distance. It was Janani!

Surprised and overjoyed, Suba ran toward her friend. "Janani! How did you get here?" she asked, her eyes wide with excitement.

Janani smiled, slightly out of breath. "I’m so sorry I missed the bus this morning. My phone battery died, and I overslept. By the time I woke up, the bus had already left. But I couldn’t let you go on this adventure without me, so I found a way."

Suba looked puzzled, "What way?"

Janani explained, "After realising I’d missed the bus, I decided to take a local cab to the nearest town. I met a kind driver who knew the location of the tourist spot and agreed to take me here. It took a few hours, but I knew I had to catch up with you. I couldn’t miss this trip, not when we promised to do it together!"

Suba couldn’t believe her ears. "You came all this way, just to be here?"

Janani nodded. "Of course! We’ve always shared everything, and I wasn’t going to let a missed bus keep us apart. Besides, it wouldn’t have been the same without you."

The two girls hugged, relieved and happy to be reunited. Their day, which had started with disappointment, turned into one filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. They explored the rest of the tourist spot together, taking photos, sharing stories, and relishing every moment of their friendship.

As the sun began to set, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange, Suba and Janani sat by the river, watching the serene water flow. Suba smiled and said, "This day was meant to be shared with you, and I'm so glad you found your way here."

Janani grinned. "We’ll always find our way back to each other, no matter what."

And with that, the two friends continued their journey, knowing that no matter where life took them, they would always have each other's back.
