My Ex Jumped Right Into Another Relationship (Why Did My Ex Get Into A New Relationship So Fast)
There's nothing worse than having to say my ex jumped right into another relationship. This happens with tons of relationships and it's really disheartening. If you're asking the question why did my ex get into a new relationship so fast then you'll want to read every word of this article.

There are few things as painful as seeing the love of your life quickly get involved with someone else - a rebound relationship.
What's really going on in a rebound relationship is that your ex is going out with someone else to help them get over you. For many people, rebound relationships keep them from having to cope with the pain of a breakup. Psychologists sometimes call such relationships "transitional," meaning they help people move on from something meaningful, like true love.
No matter whose fault it was, no matter who finally called it quits, if your relationship was based on true love, it may be able to be saved - even if your ex is with someone else right now.
Usually people run to someone totally different in a rebound relationship. If you were kind, their new romantic interest may not be so nice. If you were upbeat and fun-loving, there's a good bet the new person will be quieter and more reserved. Or it could be the other way around. The point is, your ex will focus on what was wrong in your relationship, and naturally run to something different.
And that's a good thing, for a couple of reasons. First, it means your ex is still thinking about you even when spending time with the new person. Plus, you will have a chance to see what your ex really wants in a relationship.
If your ex ran to someone completely different from you, it probably means that something they wanted in a relationship was missing in yours. If you really want to get your ex back, this is a time to make some changes.
You'll be happy to know that the vast majority of rebound relationships don't last. So be patient. The more time your ex spends with their new love interest, the more they will see their flaws - and the better you will look. And when your ex sees that you've actually made positive changes, that will only improve your image.
No matter what, don't crawl back to your ex right away. They need to have a chance to realize for themselves that they miss you and all the great things about your relationship. So play it cool. When your ex decides to reach out, be understanding. Welcome her or him back lovingly. After all, this is the new, improved you!
Here are a few tips to keep in mind if your ex is on the rebound...
- Let your ex discover for him or herself that you're what they want. Don't try so hard to convince them.
- If you were at fault, apologize. But only one time. Not over and over. If your ex accepts your apology, great. If not, let it go. Your ex will realize on their own why they love you.
- Even if you believe you should make some changes, don't promise to do so. You are the person you ex fell for. If you improve on your own, great!
- Never, ever beg. Your ex will only lose respect for you.
Rebound relationships can be really painful for the person left behind. But don't give up hope. A rebound relationship is a clear sign that your ex isn't over you either!
Are You Wondering Why Your Ex Dumped You?
Are you sitting in your living room or where ever, asking yourself why you ex dumped you? Sometimes after a break up the answers are obvious - one of the partners cheated, drank or gambled too much, etc. Other times, it's not so transparent and we are left wondering how things went so terribly wrong. One thing is certain; you won't be able to fix it, if it's fixable, if you can't even determine the cause.
Depending on where you got in your soul searching, I have a few ideas to consider as possible culprits.
Are you controlling? This is a tough question to answer because most controlling people don't see themselves this way. Were your ex and you complete equals in the relationship? At different points one may have the upper hand because one knows more about finances, the other more about construction or computers, but that's not what I am talking about. In aspects where they pertained to what your partner wore, or whom she or he talked with, went out with, etc, did you have to have a say or become restrictive? Whether you're a man or a woman, the door swings both ways on this one. Men aren't the only controlling people.
Were you complimentary or critical of your ex? Anything short of complimentary is perceived as being unappreciative, neglectful and uncaring. Believe it or not, this is true! Over time we tend to get comfortable and forget to thank our partners for the every day things. In the long run, great sex, getting your partner through the tough times can easily be trumped if you cease complimenting or thanking your partner daily. If you were actually critical of your ex, this is a huge problem. Many factors can contribute to you feeling it necessary to criticize your partner. They're all rubbish! It doesn't matter what your partner says to you, always take the high road and compliment and thank your partner. I realize this is easier said than done.
How was your communication with your ex? Partners don't just want to have you be there for the big stuff or the sex, your ex, without knowing him or her, I am certain stills wants to check in, know about the daily things going on in your life. Once we begin to lose sight of this, we are no longer living in the day-to-day, which is a huge part of the relationship.
Were you able to compromise with your ex? Being critical and neglectful are willing partners with being unable to compromise. If you were always going where you wanted to go, seeing your type of movies, your friends, etc. this will wear on any person.
If you can identify with any of these, if you really want to know why your ex dumped you, you probably need not look much further.
