Giving his 3 issues with children having phones, Basketmouth said:

ONE.

BASKETMOUTH: When we were younger, if you remember, as a kid we created our own toys. Remember? You go build those sticks, come dey play with ball. All our toys we created them. The games, we created our own games. Now, when kids are crying or they're bored or their parents like you know, want to entertain them, they give them an iPad or their phones, or say "take, watch you YouTube, watch this, watch that."

TWO.

BASKETMOUTH: In our own time, how many kids wey you see dey wear glasses? Remember those days? But now, you see a lot of kids wearing glasses. Why? Because of the phones. The light, it's not good. Then, our parents will say move back from the TV. So you can imagine now, these guys they have it with with them. Kids wey no supposed dey see anything. So now you've already given them, they are now addicted to it. Which is why if they want to eat, they're not watching something, them dey cry. They need that distraction. So you've already put it in them.

THREE.

BASKETMOUTH: There's no control. The kids have access to so many things on social media. Now, you're not the one training your kids anymore, social media is training the kids. You can't control what's out there. I saw a video of one woman who all her content, all she does is breastfeed a baby. That's her content and it has millions of views. And everybody, even kids, can have access to these things. You can't control it anymore.

Those days, if you want watch porn, you make sure say everywhere clear. You go lock the door, carry the VHS tape put. If God wan catch you, make NEPA go take light as you dey watch blue film, na you you go dey front of house. Your parents go say 'you no go play?', you go say, no my leg dey pain me because you want to remove the tape when light comes back. But right now, these kids, they have a phone. All they need to do is just go to the site, and the only control there is to verify if you're above 18. Most of these problems are from the parents. Like, you're not supposed to let your kids have access to social media you until a certain age.
