Modern Beauty Standard
It's about finding out who YOU are and what makes you happy.
The modern beauty standard is a trend that has affected the lifestyle of young generations in a variety of ways.
This was not always the case, but now it seems that people are more concerned with their physical appearance than ever before. They are constantly taking selfies and posting them on social media, looking for approval from others. This can lead to depression and anxiety among many young people because they feel as though they don't measure up to society's expectations of what they should look like.
The first is that it has caused women to become more obsessed with their appearance than ever before. This is evident in how much time they spend on their hair and makeup, as well as how many products they use.
The second effect the modern beauty standard has had on young generations is that it has caused them to become more self-conscious about their bodies and what others think of them. This can make them feel uncomfortable in public spaces or even at home because they don't want people staring at them or judging them for whatever reason (whether it's because they're skinny or fat).
The modern beauty standard also affects young people's relationships with others because it encourages them to spend time focusing on their appearance instead of spending time with friends or family members who might not always approve of what they see on social media sites like Instagram or Twitter where many people share photos of themselves with filters added onto them so they look perfect all day long no matter what they're doing or where they are at any given moment in time.
The other side effect of this trend is that it has created an expectation among young people that everyone else should have certain things or be doing certain things at all times so that they can be considered beautiful by others. This can lead to eating disorders or other mental illnesses because there's no room for individuality or self-expression when everything is about being perfect according to some perfect standard set by society around us.
Another way that this standard has affected young people's lives is by making them feel self-conscious about their appearances. This can lead to eating disorders like anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa which are both serious mental illnesses that can be life-threatening if left untreated. Many young people who suffer from these disorders have also been diagnosed with depression as well as anxiety disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
The final effect this standard has had on young generations is that it leads them away from pursuing activities that would be beneficial for their physical health such as exercise or weight loss programs because those activities might make them feel unattractive according to some standards of the society.
The beauty industry has become so big that it can be hard to keep up with all the trends, especially when they change so often. But what if you don't want to buy into the latest trends? What if you just want to be yourself?
The problem is that this doesn't work anymore. If you want people to see your true self, they'll have to look past all of the makeup and hair products that make up your look--and even then they might not get it. The only way around this is by wearing clothes that don't really match your skin tone or style preferences (which most people won't do). It's no wonder that people are opting out of the beauty industry altogether--but it's not just about looks here; it's about finding out who YOU are and what makes YOU happy!
