Medical Supplies You Need to Have in Your House

What you must have at home to manage most health situations when help is not on the way/

Introduction

This is what I had in my house when I was a kid, and it's still the same. The only difference is that now I don't have to buy bandages anymore because they're already there (and if you're like me, you might be glad about that).

Bandages

Bandages are used to cover wounds, burns, cuts and bruises. They're also great for covering sprains and broken bones.

You will want to have bandages in your house because they can be used to treat many different injuries.

Burn ointment

Burn ointment is a petroleum jelly that's used to treat minor burns. It has an emollient effect and acts as a barrier against moisture loss and infection. Burn ointment can be applied directly to the skin, or you can use it as a dressing if you have a small burn on your finger or hand (which happens more often than you'd think).

Calamine lotion

Calamine lotion is a great choice for treating minor burns. It helps to relieve pain and reduce the risk of infection, making it an essential item in your medical supplies arsenal. Calamine lotion can be used topically on burns and cuts, but it's also available in other forms such as gel, cream, or ointment.

Calamine lotion is effective at reducing pain and preventing infection due to its anti-inflammatory properties--and because it acts as an astringent (it draws moisture out). This makes calamine lotion especially useful for treating sunburns or minor cuts that are bleeding slightly too freely; if applied within two hours after exposure to excessive heat or cold air temperatures (such as during winter), this product will help prevent further tissue damage while also soothing discomforting skin conditions caused by overexposure

Cortisone cream

Cortisone cream is a topical steroid that's used to treat inflammation, pain and redness. It's available in different strengths and forms--from single-use tubes to large tubs that last for several months--and can be purchased over-the-counter at your local pharmacy. Cortisone creams work by reducing swelling and relieving itching associated with various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis (a condition characterized by dry patches of skin).

The main drawback of this medication is its potential side effects: it can cause facial flushing; muscle spasms; mood changes; joint pain; stomach cramps; leg swelling (edema), dizziness or headaches.*

Deodorant

Deodorant is a topical antiperspirant that is applied to the underarms and works by blocking sweat ducts to prevent body odor. There are two types of deodorants: aerosol and roll-on.

Aerosol deodorants come in cans or spray bottles, while roll-ons are just like regular toothpaste except they have an applicator instead of a brush tip.

Deodorants can also come in different forms: creams or gels (which you apply with your fingers), rolls-on for quick application, sprays for those who like their antiperspirant on the go (you'll need this if you're at work), and other stuff too!

Disposable razor

Disposable razors are more sanitary, cost effective, environmentally friendly and convenient. They're also portable and easy to use. Disposable razors can be used for multiple purposes like shaving your head, face or body. The downside is that they don't last as long as traditional razors do so you'll need to replace them often if you want your hairless skin to stay smooth all day long!

Duct tape

Duct tape is the quintessential utility product. It can be used to fix just about anything, from a broken glass or sink to a hole in the wall, table or floor. Duct tape is also great for holding down emergency blankets in case of an emergency (or just as a makeshift tablecloth).

Epilepsy medication

Epilepsy is a condition that causes seizures. These seizures can be mild, or they can be severe and incapacitating. The medical term for epilepsy is "epilepsy," but it's also called "seizure disorder."

In the event that you have an epileptic episode, it's important to have medicine on hand so that you don't suffer any side effects from your medication. Medication designed specifically for treating this condition will typically include anticonvulsant medications such as divalproex sodium (Depakote), lamotrigine (Lamictal), levetiracetam (Keppra) and phenobarbital sodium (Solfoton).

Epilepsy medication has many benefits besides helping prevent seizures: it reduces symptoms associated with irritability and fatigue; helps increase alertness; improves cognition; increases muscle tone which makes walking easier; reduces risk factors associated with diabetes mellitus type 2 diabetes mellitus type 2 diabetes mellitus type 1 syndrome - a common form of adult onset diabetes mellitus type 1 syndrome - a common form of adult onset diabetes mellitus type 2 syndrome where blood sugar levels remain high despite eating less than usual
