He could not stand it any longer and opened the pottery urn in a hurry. He almost fainted: the water inside was as black and sour as vinegar.

  

  And the other man, after sealing the mouth of the urn, although also looking forward to that time to come. But he was happy to work in the field during the day, and to read at night by the pine lamp, and the forty-nine days passed quickly.
