Teachers: The Most Influential People on Earth!
There are a few interesting people who have always amazed me. One of the fascinating people on Earth seems to be hypnotists. They seem to ask for volunteers, put them to sleep, and make them cluck like ducks and stuff. Magicians seem to perform "magic and stuff." Clowns, to some extent, can make some people laugh. I used to truly believe this until I reached high school. Then, it all fell apart because I saw things for what they truly were. Hypnotists used plants, people who were paid to get up on stage and fake it. Magicians had hidden devices like keys in order to escape their handcuffs and other stuff. Clowns were a bit closer to believable because they were able to make most children laugh, but eventually scared adults away.

"Make Way" Part Two: Common
Nalani's room smells of cat food and cat piss from time to time, she's used to it. She owns two cats, adopting (or as she and most people would look at it, "saved") them rather than buying herself a new cat. Adoption to her is an idea of great significance because of the countless sheltered pets who've died due to the negligence of patrons who seek to go for the breeders.

To the Lost and Lonely People in the World
So I've never been one to have a lot of friends. I had a small group of friends from the start. Over the years, you can imagine how that small group slowly decreased in numbers until there was just me and one other person left in that group. Last night, that last person and I had a falling out. Now I'm not placing that blame solely on their shoulders for we both share the blame equally. Words were said that you can never take back. Now I'm not saying this was our worst fight either, there have been plenty of them before now but this one was different. At least for me it was. Normally when we fight, I would have a little sad episode and cry a few tears for about 30 minutes before I'd move on and soon they would move on as well then we'd be friends again. No, last night was totally different. I sat in my room with them just a few feet from me and just moved on. It occurred to me that this has been the very same vicious cycle I was just speaking to a close family member about earlier that day. The cycle goes like this:

Finding L.O.L. (Love On-Line)
Internet, as we know it, has become a necessity and no longer a luxury. Hence, the undeniable power of technology. Because of the internet, everyone has emphasized the need to be always connected to the latest trends. Entrepreneurs see this as an opportunity to make online dating sites. Who's Not Your Baby?
Who's your daddy? Straight guys have been using this line to pick up females for quite some time, to varying degrees of success. It always struck me as incestuous and gross. Like why would anyone want to think about their father's during sexy times? Of course, I'm also the one who has a strict schedule for how often a new bf can see me, but that's for a different article or column if I can ever land one. Columns are as elusive for me as boyfriends are. Getting off track here. Who's your daddy? It boggles my mind that people think that this line is sexy. I don't get it. Am I alone in thinking that this is a pickup line that needs to go the way of "Hey baby, did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" Seriously, who thought necrophilia was sexy? Maybe there are some things that I am just not supposed to understand. By now, you must be trying to figure out why I am writing about this topic today. As always, a personal experience made me think about it.

"Make Way" Part One: This Happened.
She was eating what looked to be the smoke sage seitan burger or the beast-mode deluxe, but he couldn't tell. There was a weird thought in Bray's mind, he felt it. There was only the sound of Nalani chewing her food, and breathing heavily.

Ways You're Invalidating Your Partner
In order to be in a happy and healthy relationship, you and your partner should have open communication and be respectful to one another. A partnership is dependent on give and take and treating each other as equals. When you don't treat your partner with respect and don't openly communicate with them it means you're not in a healthy relationship. It may not be obvious to you but there are some clear ways you're invalidating your partner. Abusive relationships are difficult to handle and should be taken seriously.

12am
I feel quite selfish blaming it on you. But lately I've been losing myself and the only reason I seem to find for this is that you left when I needed you most, you left when I finally started to believe you'd stay forever, you left when I decided I wanted you to stay.

Baggage
My car started to shake and growl in peak hour traffic for the third time that week. Rhythmically it would crescendo until I was sure it could take no more, and then, thwomp, it would visibly give a little jump and then start its pathetic little process all over again. Growl, crescendo, thwomp. Growl, crescendo, thwomp. Growl, crescendo, thwomp.
