How do you even begin to explain how the modern man, or should I say boy. Because that's how I see these f*ckboys after they play their childish games. Some girls don't know how this game of cat and mouse operates, but after countless encounters I am well-versed and quite the seasoned player. The only way to win the game is to not play at all. If you suspect a guy to be a f*ckboy, walk away. But the challenging ones are the kind you don't see coming. They are the worst betrayal and the hardest knocks to your ego.

Sliding Into the First Relationship (Part 1)
I got sick of waiting, sick of seeing my friends weave in and out of relationship after relationship. Not that I specifically wanted that, I wanted a real one, someone I could spend lots of time with and love. And, I was not getting that in my small town in New York that had a population of about 500. Which sometimes I don't get. Now, I understand I am not the prettiest girl in town, or the thinnest. But, not to toot my own horn or anything, I am one of the nicest people you will ever meet. And eventually I began to think that I would have to be lonely and sad for a very long time. But, that was before I met him, my night in shining armor, my big teddy bear, my Tyler.

The Black Widow and The Angler Fish
I focus on the cracked paving stones as I walk in the mid-March darkness. The cold air lapping at my post shower face. I had decided today that I would turn my life around. Deleted dating apps, check. Focused on work, check. Positivity overboard, check. Even told my best friend about my new plan and my positivity. Obviously with her knowing me so well she came out with the comment ‘We’ll see how long that lasts before you’re back to it’ Thanks Joy. But to be fair she has dealt with me for the past three months and heard it a lot in that time. She’d put up with so much, I could see a wave of relief come over her face, because we would be moving in together in the next few months.

Chapter 4: Jesse February, 2011 I've only been talking to Nikki for such a short amount of time and for some reason she's the only person I want to talk to no matter what mood I'm in. When I tell her about my day at work, or at school, or even at home she really listens to me and tells me her opinions with full honesty. I felt bad for her when she had her court date and the judge didn't help her out. She's been staying strong each day since she went back to her parents but I haven't really been able to talk to her as much as before due to her not having a computer near and her cellphone is a prepaid to where she gets charged a lot for texting and calling. Sometimes she's able to sleep over at a friend's house that has access to a computer. During those times we practically talked throughout the whole night.

Recently my friend shared an article she found online titled “The Danger of Allowing Straight Cis Men into LGBTQ Spaces.” It focused on a specific Hollywood nightclub that was being overrun by straight men. It gave an example of a man who made aggressive sexual advances to two lesbians. He would not leave them alone when they asked. When they agreed to let him take them home because they were too drunk to drive, he sexually assaulted one of them.
