I Promised You Forever, but What Did You Promise Me?
You had decided that, after only a few short weeks of knowing me, you wanted to devote the rest of your life to me. I remember that day as if it happened yesterday. It came from nowhere. I received two text messages, back to back, one reading, "I am totally and completely in love with you," while the message that followed read, "I will marry you. It's not a question of if, but when." My heart dropped into my stomach, as days before, as we were driving back to your place from sitting on the lake, you informed me that you were never, ever getting married. We were discussing my previous marriages, and we discussed how you had spent so very long with someone before me without ever discussing marrying her. You told me that if you ever did get married, you'd likely be in your forties and had been with the lady for many, many years.

Monsters in My Head
She could still hear his voice in her head. That perfect raspy tenor that made butterflies form in her stomach every time that old memory crept in. She could hear the harsh words that he had shouted at her, more out of worry than anger. It was the same words every single time she thought about him, the last words he had ever spoken to her.

The Game
I'm 18. I just graduated high school. A lot of crazy things are happening in this day and age and in this individual period of time in my life and there's a ton of stuff I still have yet to truly comprehend. That being said, I don't know a lot, but I know enough to understand that we all have to play the game. A loud, never-ending game played by us, along with three others. Three other players who go by the names of truth, perspective, and love.

Surprise, I Am Gay
Picture this... Nice cool November night in Arizona, just got off work from an exhaustively long shift at Chick-Fil-A in the mall. It's an election year and politics are everywhere. I am not much for politics and I definitely am not the type to stress about who the president of the United States of America will be, I wanted to vote for Harambe the gorilla. My partner at the time, however, did care. She cared to a level of pure stress on the subject.

What You See Isn't Necessarily What You See
I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that assumptions are never good. Unless you've known someone really well for a very long time, I wouldn't chance it, even then you can go wrong. And a lot of things CAN go wrong in a pretty serious way if one isn't careful.

This Is It
A touch is calming. Your touch, on the other hand, is like an electric vault consuming my every being. Like when we met eyes and notice that our thoughts were on the same wave. No words express the emotions screaming from my heart. My energy is nonexistent without you introducing my every emotion. You just you. All I want, all I think about. You ran with all of it. Yet I kindly asked you to take me. But a smile is all I got instead. How dare you?

Update on My LDR
First of all I'd like to thank you for following my story and reading my first post! Now let's get into it... In my last post I talked about the issues I was facing in my LDR. I mentioned that I was dying to see my boyfriend again and SURPRISE! We spent an amazing three weeks together in Swansea. I made the long journey down on April 23 and traveled home on May 15. The whole time together was amazing. We were both pretty broke so we didn't do too much while I was there but I think that was the beauty of it—we didn't need to spend money on nights out to enjoy ourselves. We were quite happy just sat in at night with some cheap snacks from the shop watching movies or playing horror games.

He has a wonderful family because he found a wonderful wife who makes him happy and he makes her happy as well.
