What is your favourite personality trait and why?
I am creative, this is my favourite trait because I am always using my creativity to help get my feelings out. Creativity has no limits, and I am constantly surprising people with things I am doing. Like when I published my first book in the first lock down, or when I started my photography, when I bake and use to take it in to work. I used to have to bake one of my mangers her very own batch of shortbread because she loved it so much. I have been told multiple times by one of my colleagues that my talents were wasted where we work, she’s like that fun loving auntie who is also your best friend. Obviously, it gives you that extra bounce in your stride when people compliment things you do and seen as I’m not the prettiest person I use my creativity to get appraise.
What is your favourite facial feature and why?
My eyes, which is annoying because they cause me quite a lot of trouble. But I love my eye colour its blue with green ocean like sparks spreading from the pupil. In different weather my eyes can seem crystal blue or magical green. Recently I took some up close photos of my eye just because I wanted to. I once tried it in college to be able to draw my eye but I took the photo with my very old iPhone, so it wasn’t great quality but now a have a great camera that captures such amazing detail.
Name three accomplishments in your life and why you are proud of achieving them?
My first would be getting my very own place with my fiancé. I’m proud because no matter how hard I worked and tried to save up it still felt like it was never going to happen. When I was younger I dreamed of the independence but back then it was so far away.
My second would be my promotion work I had applied to it once before, but I didn’t really want it back then because I didn’t feel ready for it. But after completing my NVQ in hospitality and receiving a distinction, I managed to get it the second time I applied. Honestly, I never thought of my self as the leader type, but I always like helping and training people. And over the first three years of working there my confidence had risen, which I never thought would ever happen. It felt nice to know not only was I qualified but that my managers also felt I was ready to be given the team leader responsibilities.
My third would have to be finally publishing my first book, I felt so proud because I self-published and when I first started writing stories I never thought I would actually be able to publish a book one day. The sales of that book may not be doing well, it may not be the best book ever writing but it has given me confidence and motivation to keep going with more novels.
What does self-love mean to you?
To me it is being happy with your life and yourself. At the moment I don’t have a lot of self-love for myself, due to my mental health and the fact I don’t like my body very much. I want to lose weight, but I just don’t have the motivation to do anything about it, it’s a mixture of my fiancé telling me he loves me no matter what and my mental health causing my motivation to drop. I don’t even eat that much but because I hardly every get out of bed and I can’t go for walks the fat isn’t being burnt off. But also, the only thing in my life I am happy with is my family and fiancé, which should be enough, but I also want to be finically stable and with my mental health causing issues with working it’s hard to be financially stable.
