Stains on white clothes are inevitable, especially if you wear makeup every day or if you have a restless little one in the family, who jumps into your arms as soon as he sees you at the door.

How commercial chemicals can be harmful to the skin, especially if you are allergic or simply have sensitive skin, and when it comes to children, there is no doubt about it, it is good to turn your attention to homemade bleaches. We will tell you about one of them in the following.

So here's how to create homemade bleach at home!

A natural bleach for some immaculate clothes

Before we reveal the recipe for your natural bleach, we need to tell you why the one in the trade is so dangerous for you and your family. Here are some arguments that will convince you to stop buying such a product:

1. Bleach may cause respiratory problems, and vapors from it should never be inhaled.

2. You may have accidentally dropped a few drops of bleach on your skin by mistake. Do you remember the burning sensation that appeared immediately and the way the skin in that area looked after?

3. Even if they are kept out of the eyes of children, there is still a certain degree of risk, they can reach the containers with bleach or various toxic substances, used for the same purpose.

4. The bleach may mix with various other substances during the cleaning process so that its degree of toxicity will increase.

To prepare an environmentally safe bleaching product for your family members, you need to have the following ingredients at hand:

  • 360 ml of hydrogen peroxide with a concentration of 3%;
  • 120 ml of lemon juice;
  • 1 tablespoon of citric acid (this ingredient is optional, but if you want to get rid of the problem of hard water, it is advisable to use it in your mixture);
  • distilled water;
  • 10–30 drops of lemon essential oil.

The way to prepare the natural bleach for clothes is the following:

1. Put hydrogen peroxide, lemon juice, citric acid, and lemon essential oil in a 1-liter plastic can. Shake the container well until the citric acid is completely dissolved.

2. Add distilled water over the previously prepared mix until the can is full.

You will get clean white clothes, but you will also get rid of germs in the house if you follow a few tips:

  • if it is a stubborn stain, use a container with spray and apply a little natural bleach on the affected area, leaving it overnight to have time to act. The next day, add 50 ml of bleach to the washing machine;
  • the same spray container can help you use the natural bleach on the kitchen counter to get rid of germs and fungi;
  • this homemade product successfully replaces the spray for windows and mirrors;
  • instead of the disinfectant for the toilet bowl and the descaler for the bathtub and the sink, you can use a mixture of natural bleach and baking soda. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse;
  • Only 200 ml of natural bleach helps you get rid of germs and debris accumulated in the dishwasher. So, use it during the wash cycle and you will see the results immediately.

As you can see, natural bleach has a lot of uses, it can also be used to disinfect various objects and surfaces, not only to get rid of stains. So, prepare it and use it with confidence!

It's now simple to save your favorite piece of clothing even if it has a lot of stains on it. Creating homemade bleach is quite easy.
