Chinedu Ikedezie during interview

During his interview with Chude, Chinedu Ikedezie shared the story of what he and Osita Iheme did in New York saying:

CHINEDU IKEDEZIE: I don't want to say this here, maybe I will tell you later [laughs]. You know, we were students - at a time, money, the little dollars that we had with us, we couldn't open an account. Even when we opened an account with Chase Bank, at the end of the day, I don't know what they did with the account, whether they blocked us or they erased our information from there, I don't know what just happened. So the little money we had, we were just managing it. And paying $2, $3, $5, everyday to Manhattan, nna eh - something happened. One day, as we were going to school, we got to the subway. You know that their security thing. We noticed that if kids get there, they will pass. Me and Osita got there, we had no money. Osita said "Nedu Nedu, train is coming, train is coming". Before I could separate one from two, Osi don pass! So, you know what I did, I passed! Entered train. Abeg if they view am, make them no come arrest me oh! [laughs]. So at the time I was like "Osi, these people are monitoring us, are you sure they didn't see us?" But I've been to America several times. Of course I will never commit [that crime now].

The security thing Chinedu Ikedezie is talking about is the NYC subway turnstiles which you need to scan a card through to access.
