What is BTS ?

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The group debuted on June 13, 2013, with the single "No More Dream" from their first album, 2 Cool 4 Skool. The seven-member group includes Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM , Jimin , V, and Jungkook.

BTS quickly gained popularity in South Korea and internationally with their unique blend of music, dance, and powerful lyrics that tackle a wide range of social issues. In addition to their successful music career, the members of BTS are known for their energetic performances, strong stage presence, and close relationship with their fans, known as the "ARMY".

In the years since their debut, BTS has released several albums and singles, won numerous awards, and set records for the highest-charting Korean album on the US Billboard 200 chart, as well as the fastest time for a Korean group to reach 10 million followers on Twitter. They have also become the first Korean group to perform at the Grammy Awards and the first Korean act to sell out a stadium tour in the United States.

Formation of BTS

BTS was formed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. The group was originally supposed to be a hip-hop group featuring rappers, but the company eventually decided to include vocalists in the lineup as well. The members of BTS were selected through a series of auditions, and the final lineup included Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM , Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

Jin

Kim Seok-jin , better known by his stage name Jin, is a member of the South Korean boy band BTS. He was born on December 4, 1992, in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. Jin is the oldest member of BTS and is known for his handsome looks and strong vocal abilities.

Before joining BTS , Jin studied acting and had appeared in several musicals, including "The Three Musketeers" and "Brothers Were Brave." He also appeared on the survival show "Superstar K" in 2011.

In BTS , Jin is responsible for the group's visuals and is known for his good looks and fashion sense. He is also a vocalist in the group and has contributed to the writing and production of several of their songs.

In addition to his work with BTS , Jin has also released solo tracks, including "Awake" and "Epiphany," and has appeared on various variety shows and dramas in South Korea.

SUGA

Min Yoon-gi, better known by his stage name Suga, is a member of the South Korean boy band BTS. He was born on March 9, 1993, in Daegu, South Korea. Suga is known for his smooth and laid-back rap style and his production skills.

Before joining BTS, Suga was an underground rapper and released several tracks under the name Agust D. He also participated in the "Hit It" auditions, organized by Big Hit Entertainment, and was eventually selected to join BTS.

In BTS, Suga is one of the main rappers and is also involved in the group's songwriting and production. He has written and produced several of BTS's most popular songs, including "Blood Sweat & Tears," "I Need U," and "Dope."

J-Hope

Jung Ho-seok, better known by his stage name J-Hope, is a member of the South Korean boy band BTS. He was born on February 18, 1994, in Gwangju, South Korea. J-Hope is known for his energetic and upbeat rap style and his dance skills.

Before joining BTS, J-Hope trained as a dancer and participated in several dance competitions. He also appeared on the survival show "Superstar K" in 2012.

Kim Nam-joon , better known by his stage name RM, is a member of the South Korean boy band BTS. He was born on September 12, 1994, in Ilsan, South Korea. RM is known for his deep and smooth rap style and his language skills, as he is fluent in English and Korean.

Before joining BTS, RM was an underground rapper and released several tracks under the name Runch Randa. He also participated in the "Hit It" auditions, organized by Big Hit Entertainment, and was eventually selected to join BTS.

In BTS, RM is the group's leader and main rapper. He is also involved in the group's songwriting and production and has written and produced several of BTS's most popular songs, including "Danger," "I Need U," and "Blood Sweat & Tears."

JIMIN

Park Ji-min, better known by his stage name Jimin, is a member of the South Korean boy band BTS. He was born on October 13, 1995, in Busan, South Korea. Jimin is known for his powerful vocals and his dance skills.

Before joining BTS, Jimin trained as a dancer and participated in several dance competitions. He also appeared on the survival show "Superstar K" in 2012.
