We all love reading stories, right? So I thought of bringing to you a story.
Once there was a little boy named Ram. His father had died when he was just 2 years old. Ram lived with his mother in a small house. she was a very hard-working woman. She used to work as a maid in several houses so that she could earn enough to pay Ram's school fee and to feed him at least twice a day. But one miserable thing was that she had only one eye because of which she was bullied and made fun of by many. When Ram was small he loved his mother so much. But as soon as he began to go to school his friends began to tease him as his mother had only one eye he was made fun of too. This was when hatred gradually started to develop in him for his mother. He started misbehaving with her, not giving her respect neither speaking with any politeness with her. She loved him yet the same but Ram had neither love nor respect left in his heart for her.

Many years passed, all these years Ram behaved like a stranger with his mother. His mother leads a lonely life all these years. Ram was now a well-educated and grown-up man, leading a life of dignity. He had got a job in a good company and soon moved out from his mother's house. Now he was married and had a small daughter. Once he moved out from his mother's house he never saw her face again neither invited her for his wedding, not for his daughter's baby shower. But his mother missed him very much that not even a single day passed without her thinking of Ram. She was not even knowing her son's new address. She inquired many of his friends and pleaded with them to give his address. Finally, she got his address. Immediately without wasting any time she went to meet him.
She reached and knocked on the door. Ram opened the door and said -"You! Because of you, my childhood got ruined, everybody made fun of me and now I'm trying to leave a dignified life so you came here too to spoil it? I'm having a small daughter she will get afraid if she sees you so it's better if you leave from here" and he slams the door. Poor lady, her eyes filled with tears couldn't believe it was her son. Yet she was happy seeing that Ram was happy, he was now having a family, a beautiful daughter, and a wife.

After a month or a two, he received a letter from his maternal uncle in which it was written that when Ram was born he didn't have one eye, seeing this his mother thought my son should not be derived from seeing this beautiful world with two beautiful eyes and I can leave happily without one eye. So she donated her eye to him. She tolerated all the harassment and taunts of people. She uses to earn handsome money which she used to feed Ram and to pay his fees she used to stay hungry sometimes if she had no money but never kept Ram hungry. She never used to buy new clothes for herself, use to wear the same old clothes. Even all the gold jewelry she had she sold it for his college fees and stationary. But now his mother was no more she had died a few days ago.
After reading the letter Ram's eyes filled with tears. Utter sorrow grabbed him. All his bad behavior with his mom flashed in front of him and he started crying. He couldn't even ask for an apology.

Moral of the Story: Always respect your parents. They always think for your betterment. Even in adverse situations, they will always think of their children first. We should always think before acting according to what people say. ( as Ram started hating his mother because friends were teasing her)
