Because of Him

As I walked into the hospital on my very first day I have to say I was a little nervous but thank god my best friend Kylie got a job with me at the same hospital! We have been friends since our sophomore year in high school where we both bonded on wanting to be nurses and help people. So naturally we applied to the same school got in, graduated with honors and applied to the same hospital to work. We got to the reception desk and there he was omg was he something I don’t think I have ever seen a man so handsome my body automatically reacted to him something that doesn’t happen to me often. There was something about him that made me feel like I knew him already but I’m sure if I ever met this god like human before I wouldn’t forget him. Kylie and I were both staring I know not the best first impression but hey sometimes you can’t help it. Kylie leaned over to me and whispered “Claire I think we have found the perfect job and we even have great eye candy who knew” I rolled my eyes this girl is one of a kind she’s beautiful with long blonde curly hair that goes all the way down her back with ice blue eyes, huge boobs and butt and skinny as a rail and it’s all natural I’ve never met someone with better genes then this girl. She doesn’t have to try to get men they are drawn to her. Me on the other hand I’m tall like freakishly tall I’m almost 6 foot in flats so if I want to wear heels I usually tower over men. Shoulder length brown hair and green eyes which I personally think is my best feature. I have huge boobs but I mostly keep them covered so unless you have seen me naked or in a bathing suit you would have no idea. I’m about an average weight not fat but definitely look it compared to Kylie. If she has her eyes on a man I don’t even try to complete with her because let’s be honestly that’s not a competition I’m going to win. On our way to the locker room to change our clothes for our first official shift as RN’s we walk past him he was even better looking close up. I’m great at nursing I have no problem talking to patients or their family but when it comes to men I can’t speak I just go dumb especially when they look like this one so naturally I look down trying to avoid eye contact. Kylie on the other hand never holds her tongue she always says how she feels and that’s probably my favorite thing about her there is no guessing. She walked right up to him with her hand out “Hi I’m Kylie I just wanted to introduce myself and this is Claire” he looked her up and down like all men do and said “Hello Kylie, Hello Claire nice to meet you both” right then we met eyes and I knew I had met him before or someone that looked just like him and if I knew any better I would say he looked at me the same. I couldn’t move I felt like I was in a time warp just looking at him but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why. I just nodded and smiled like the loser I am couldn’t even say a word. Kylie starts to walk away and pulls my arm “Come on Claire we don’t want to be late for our first day” still speechless from all I could muster up was “ok.” As we walked alway Kylie latches her arm through mine “damn we didn’t even get his name” oh don’t worry Kylie I’m going to find out.
