Be authentic, be dreamy. Be kind and, if necessary, stubborn. Don't be ashamed of the "cockroaches" in your head - they make you unique! In a word, be yourself.

Protect your dignity and originality at all times and all costs. If you do not allow this world and people to change your essence, then the right people will come into your life. And just when you least expect it.

What is certain is that when you cease to be yourself and become what others expect you to see, you lose the most beautiful part of your being: your individuality. Therefore, you completely abandon your uniqueness.

Your life is slowly and imperceptibly changing. But one day you discover that the days have turned gray and faceless. Somewhere the brightness and colors could inspire you to disappear. The former spontaneity that once motivated disappears.

Be yourself in a world full of "masks"

Co-founder of the Harvard School of Negotiation (the Harvard University program and school of science, founded in 1983), William Uri is one of the world's greatest communication experts.

In his book "Reaching an Agreement", he explains that the biggest problem that people face in communication and genuine understanding (this applies to both professional and personal contacts) is that we do not believe in ourselves.

And when a person feels insecure, how do they act? Correct: he puts on all sorts of "masks and armor." Not surprisingly, being constantly in a state of fear and anxiety only attracts failures and wrong people.

It is not easy to stay in a society where you are taught from an early age to be "the same." Even in schools, you are taught to think the same way! Not to mention that most companies prefer obedient workers who will not challenge management policies.

Being yourself is hard. But if you decide to say "yes", you will open the door to a happy life.

Only be yourself and special people will appear in your life

Authentic people, free, spontaneous, and a little crazy, become attractive. And there is an explanation for this: they said, "Yes."

"Yes," to be accepted for who I am. "Yes" to being alone, even if other people don't like it.

"Personal growth begins when you gain the ability to accept your weaknesses" - Jean Wannier.

Being accepted at any cost is no longer important to you. And because of this new mental and emotional state, sooner or later you "attract" extraordinary people. You make wonderful friends and mentors. People who accept and love you as you are are unpretentious and untrue.

Live according to your own rule and let others live the same way

So how do you help yourself become one? How do you say "yes"? Below we will share several ways.

Wear your shoes. It is possible to get used to living, to constantly present yourself in the place of other people, but how long has it been since you acted, thought, or spoke according to your inner needs, emotions and realities? Today is a good day to start. Do it, put on your shoes.

Accept this. Maybe you don't like your past. It can be annoying and disturbing. But it does not matter anymore. Your possibilities exist here and now. Therefore, create, change and live according to yourself real and enjoy!

Last but not least, always remember the famous motto: "Live alone and let others live." Authentic and unique people appreciate and love each other. But they also allow others to be themselves and respect their worlds.

I know, being in a world where this is not welcome is difficult. However, it is worth it.

Therefore, learn to protect your individuality and confidently reveal your uniqueness, light, and magic to the world. Only then will you open the doors to those people, things, and opportunities that will bring true happiness.
