Anita Joseph Raises Alarm Over Songs Played at Children's Parties, Reads Out Some She Heard
Anita is crying out

Nollywood actress Anita Joseph is crying out following parties she heard at a children's party and calling for DJs to censor and edit their songs saying:
ANITA JOSEPH: There's something that bothers me so much—like, it hurts me. DJs, I have a problem with you guys. A children’s party na children’s party. An adult’s party na adult’s party. Know what to play at the right time. Don’t infuse adult songs into children’s parties.
Listen. What I’m trying to say is: censor your songs. When you want to go for a children’s party—in fact, there are DJs that specialize in children’s parties, okay? Then there are ones that are meant to go for adult parties. I beg una. Because the last time I went to one party like that, I was hearing... I even wrote it down so I wouldn’t forget, because I don’t know them.
It’s getting too much, and I’m actually very irritated. When you go to children’s parties, let it be that. I went to a children’s party, and I’m hearing, “I’m coming.” I’m coming to where? "You’re coming, you’re coming"—you’re coming to where? Can you imagine?
Another one I heard: “Na yansh, na yansh.” You guys should stop it. I’m actually very serious. And I saw children singing it! Those are not the right songs to play at a children’s party. What is wrong with you?
You know una problem? DJs, some of you are very lazy. Some of you are so lazy! You don’t censor your songs. Edit your songs na!
I mean, I went to the DJ and I said, “Listen, if you don’t know what to play, play Christian songs.” I mean, I no even hear gospel songs there! What is wrong with you? They paid you to play, okay. You know, at some point, the children will go home, then the adults. When it’s time for the adults' party, you can play whatever you want to play.
Then I heard, “I love breast, breast.” I look the guy like this, and then he scratched the song off—and na where e end.
Then another one wey dem dey play wey I dey vex for: “If she no ah ah, if she no ah, who go pay for her wig and handbag?”
What is wrong with you, my darling? You will pay for your wig. You will pay for your bag, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen! Work hard. And the Lord has said that He will bless the works of your hands, but you have to get something to do. He will not bless your empty hands! You need to get working. Get something to do. Find a job. Find a job, and the Lord will bless your bread and water in Jesus’ name. Leave this thing!
Another one: “My head o, my neck, my waist. But I still wan knack.”
What kind of songs are these?!
Listen, don’t get me wrong. I don’t have any problem with these songs. I do not have a problem with these songs. But know the kind of songs to play at a children’s party.
There are songs for children, and there are songs for adults. If you get to the club, if you’re doing an adult party, cool. Play every kind of nonsense lyrics that you have. But when it comes to a children’s party, you guys, censor your songs. Edit your songs. Don’t be lazy.
I love you. Shalom.
