The strongest material of all is not steel or diamond at all, but a strong soul and heart, which uses a golden thread to heal wounds.

We live in times of resilience where people are forced by circumstances. We all understand that persistence is not always as effective. Not all people overcome stress and personal problems equally. Each person has their burden, their ocean of injustice, their great sea of degradation, and you don't always know how to get out of them and leave it all in the past.

We live in an ordinary society to hang labels: you are smart, you are clumsy, you are a maniac, you are a failure, that person is weak, the other is strong, and so on.

The mania of taking everything to extremes and constantly clinging to all the labels often plunge us into utter helplessness when we stop believing in our potential and lead ourselves into a corner full of suffering, tears, and despair.

Sometimes it is not enough to hear that we can be persistent because in loneliness this trait develops with great difficulty. We need the trust of other people, the sense of compassion of those around us, and the one who will allow us to rise again, becoming stronger, freer, more beautiful, and more valuable…

Why are some people more resilient than others?

Persistence is the ability of the brain to cope with stressful situations. That is, there is a certain biological factor that neurologists are actively exploring today.

1. Education. A childhood spent in an unfavorable environment, devoid of love leads to physiological and biochemical reactions that make a person less resistant to stressors.

2. The genetic factor plays an important role in many cases. Fear or inability to overcome difficulties leaves behind emotional scars that affect our genes and are likely to be inherited by future generations.

3. Neurotransmitters. Another proven fact: People who have difficulty managing stress or experience trauma have poor endorphin and oxytocin neurotransmitter activity. Their limited interaction with the limbic system or prefrontal cortex plunges such individuals into a state of constant defense, emotional chaos, and increases the risk of anxiety or depression.

These three factors can make us more vulnerable. We feel weak and the world is dangerous. But don't cling to that kind of faith. Our potential is like a two-legged bird because it has forgotten that it can fly.

The strongest armor is the heart and the mind

Many people spend their lives sulking around the world. We are offended by our family because our childhood was lonely and inferior. We despise those who hurt us, who rejected us, who told us "I don't love you anymore" or "I love you", but we know it was a lie. We hate this complex reality, rivalry, and sometimes extreme situations, we despise our lives.

We focus on external factors, such as a man beating a bag until he gets tired and falls powerless. Believe it or not, resistance is not a golden armor that can be used to become more courageous and make external demons disappear. Because we don't need to arm ourselves unnecessarily if we can't deal with a wounded person first.

The strongest armor is our heart and mind, where our resilience, self-acceptance, and new hope live. Even if we do not want to admit it, some battles are better to lose, because by blocking the past in a box with old calendars, we allow ourselves to live in the present and our dreams to grow through the cracks of our wounds.

We will reach a moment, eventually, when we can do this - think of the past without fear and anger. Peace will come to our souls because in the end, we have allowed ourselves what we deserve: to be happy.
