A Good Night Sleep
Tip to Starting the Day Energized

Do you tend to wake up feeling exhausted most of the time? No matter how well you believe you slept—either for eight hours or for twelve—you always wake up feeling a little foggy. You're not alone, so don't worry. Now let's try to make things right for you.
While for you getting up is nothing extraordinary, your body experiences a lot of changes as you get up in the morning. Your respiration will also quicken and your heartbeat will increase, for example. Your brain will start generating various types of brainwaves as your blood flow increases. Your liver and kidneys were in sleep mode during the night, but when you wake up, they switch back to waking mode.
You probably had REM, or rapid eye movement, during the course of the previous night while you were asleep. The average person experiences five of these segments of sleep, spread out by non-REM sleep. You dream when your eyes move quickly, which is a sign that you are deep asleep. In the event that you've ever awoken in the middle of a dream, you did so during REM.
Sometimes, even though you may believe you've had a nice night's sleep after taking a sleeping pill, the medication may have reduced the amount of deep sleep you actually experienced. Let's assume that you didn't get enough REM sleep. You'll probably be able to tell this since you'll likely wake up feeling exhausted and be really irritated all day.If this continues, you'll become angrier, and since our bodies go into repair mode when we sleep, not getting enough sleep over an extended period of time can really harm our health. We recharge when we sleep, so if you want to wake up feeling super-charged, make sure to get enough sleep.
Dreaming is essential because it allows your mind to run free. It's a form of mental purging. We are informed that an adult should sleep for seven to nine hours each night in order to remain healthy. Now, many of you will be saying, "That's not me." Some of you will sleep that much, but you'll still feel exhausted. We'll explain how to wake up feeling better to you right now.
Start by keeping an eye on your diet. You shouldn't eat a lot right before bed, and if you've snacked on a lot of processed carbs, your blood sugar levels will be high and you might not be able to get a decent night's rest as a result. However, you should drink a lot of water, and we advise keeping a bottle next to your bed. No matter how many hours you got, you could still feel lethargic if you wake up dehydrated. Dehydration can make you move more slowly.
Exercise is another thing to do. We are only requesting that you move around a little bit during the day rather than starting to run five miles every evening. Your blood can become more oxygenated through exercise, which in turn gives your brain and heart more nutrition. If you are extremely lazy, don't expect that because you are skilled at remaining still, your sleep will improve. That is definitely not the case.
The first thing to do when you wake up is stretch. By making an effort, we mean going beyond simply raising your arms in the air. Some folks practise some simple yoga poses. While you sleep, you are in a state of great relaxation that is not dissimilar to paralysis. Atony is the word for this condition. Most people stroll around in the morning, but you have to get out of here to feel fresh. It has been demonstrated that performing a few simple workouts first thing in the morning stimulates the brain and releases endorphins. You'll feel better and have more energy as a result.
Turn off your phone's alerts at night; we shouldn't have to remind you of this. Even though you might not realise it, each beep has the potential to interrupt the deep sleep cycles that your body so much likes. It's pretty simple to disable such alerts, start doing it right away. Avoiding the snooze button is another tip you might not have heard. Small sips of sleep have absolutely no positive effects on you. You want to have that restful slumber. You essentially damage a sleep cycle if you start a new one and then interrupt it after a 10-minute nap. This is not good for your body. The "90-minute technique," which involves setting your alarm 90 minutes before you actually want to get up, is something the experts teach us about.
In addition, get in the chilly water as quickly as you can. When it's chilly outside, it might not be able to take a cold shower in the morning as it is in hotter nations. Wherever you stay, though, you should splash cold water, not hot, on your face in the morning. Some authorities advise keeping a spray bottle next to your bed and dousing yourself in it as soon as you wake up. It's a brief, powerful shock that will jolt you into action. Try it and let us know what you think; it could seem stupid.
As for eating in the morning, many individuals these days prefer to skip breakfast and fast, but research shows that having breakfast will provide you energy both in the morning and throughout the day. However, many people appear to handle the day better without breakfast, but others require it. You should probably try both to discover which works best for you. A lot of caffeine can make a person tired later in the day, according to various studies on the subject. While we don't advise against drinking coffee, you should experiment to see how different doses make you feel. Never drink coffee before bed.
If the sun is out, pop your head out the window and get some, according to some research, which may surprise you. The paper we came across was titled "Vitalizing effects of being outdoors and in nature." Opening those curtains as soon as possible in the morning will help you feel refreshed, according to the study. It's beneficial to expose your face to the sun since it raises serotonin levels.
Additionally, to keep your circadian rhythm consistent, attempt to wake up at the same time every day. It's your sleep/wake cycle, if you haven't heard of it. According to the National Sleep Foundation, "The more you pay attention to your body and notice feelings of alertness and drowsiness, and the more time you spend developing good sleep hygiene habits, the better your slumber will be and the better you'll feel." Your body will reward you for being consistent because it likes consistency.
You shouldn't need to be reminded to use the loo before bed, but please do. Even if you don't go to the toilet during the night, your bladder can fill up, which may cause you to feel awake. Even though you might not feel the urge to urinate, you'd be astonished at how frequently you can manage to do so. Our recommendation is to always hit the bowl before bed. Avoid spending as much time as you can in your bedroom before going to sleep. Although we understand that you would like doing this, your mind should only associate that location with sleeping. If your bedroom is your fortress, it will be more difficult to go asleep because you'll be unconsciously more energised there.
The best of it all, tell yourself what you could struggle with today and how you might handle it. It literally takes a load off of your shoulders.
