There are a lot of Nigerians all over the world, and everyday, we hear about some new person, sometimes famous, who is also either fully Nigerian or partly Nigerian. Today, after the revelation of yet another major celebrity, yet another name joins the list. So, without further ado, we'll be counting down 5 celebrities who've also revealed their part Nigerian. 1. Meghan Markle

The internet was set abuzz when the Duchess of Sussex revealed during a podcast that she was partly Nigerian. Meghan Markle said:

I just had my genealogy done a couple of years ago, I’m 43% Nigerian. I’m going to start to dig deeper into all of this because anyone that I’ve told, especially Nigerian women, are just like, what?

2. Lil Wayne

Rapper Lil Wayne during an episode of Drink Champ on Revolt TV also opened up about his Nigerian ancestry. Lil Wayne said:

Shout out to Nigeria, I did my 23 and me ancestry dot com and my shit came back like 53% Nigerian. Yea! Me and my mum need to have a talk (Laughter). I have never been to Nigeria. That is the place I would love to go. I gat to go to Nigeria…I gat to go see that place.

3. Big Sean

Big Sean also shocked fans when in an interview with Vibe Magazine, the rapper said:

I remember one time, My Aunty took Me and My Brother to see Santa Claus and Santa Claus was black, and I was like that’s not Santa Claus, then my grandma said why is that not Santa Claus and I was like because he is black, He was like Super black, you know what I mean like a Nigerian, I am Nigerian, part Nigerian

4. Drake

American rapper Drake also revealed on his social media that his dad is 30% Nigerian, writing along with the screenshot "This is my dad's results. Does this mean I'm a Naija man finally?"

5. Denzel Washington

Finally, during an interview this week promoting his latest movie Gladiator 2, popular actor Denzel Washington revealed that he is also part Nigerian saying to the interview:

DENZEL WASHINGTON: I am 10 per cent Nigerian and 90 per cent Irish
