The 3 principles that will bring you closer to your vocation can be understood if you answer a few questions:

  • What does a day in your life look like?
  • Do you do what you love? Do you feel fulfilled?
  • Do you look forward to the next day?

I ask you this because, in the daily routine, people are caught up in obligations, chores, and other "very important" things to which they must give all their attention and energy. I no longer ask questions about their vocation.

If you do your job well, you are conscientious, you go to school, you do your homework and you listen to outside voices that say "what would be better for you" you will have a happy life, without too many events that everyone else who does not I know the vocation.

But are everyone else who has listened to the outside voices happy with what they have and where they have come from?

Not entirely, I would say. Otherwise, there would not have been so many problems related to money and poverty, lack of love, and health among people.

Okay, okay, but what do money, health, and love have to do with the influences of others? These outward voices are, in fact, also people who have listened, in turn, to what their loved ones are saying, what is best for them.

In this way, you too will be tempted to listen to others and, in turn, to advise them "how better." I'm sure you're more than that and have the potential to have everything you want in life and be an example to others, but you'll have to take responsibility for that. You can live very well without knowing your vocation, but with the vocation, all areas of life become more flourishing.

When is it okay to listen to the opinions of those around you?

When can I give the POWER OF EXAMPLE!

Then and only then did they gain the right to teach others. Ask only the opinion of those who can give the power of example in the direction you want to follow. Successful people don't pull you down.

Returning is a vicious circle to which every person is subjected because external influences are everywhere: the media, the entourage, the family, etc.

Whatever you do, they will be present in life.

Now I don't want you to go into the woods, disconnected from reality, and live alone or isolate yourself in some way. The 3 principles that will bring you closer to your vocation are not limited to this. Those closest to you certainly care about you, but they can't put themselves in your shoes to feel what you feel. You are a social being, you need to live among people, to relate, and to create connections with them, for your benefit but also them.

I follow the principle that every person is a unique and extraordinary being and that marriage is accepted, but that does not mean that you resonate with everyone. You can't be friends with anyone. This means that the most beneficial thing would be to keep almost only people like you, who have the same values and principles as you, and maybe even with a similar vocation.

Okay, but what about the negative influences in your life, or those of "I already know what's best for you and they want the best for you"?

There is a way you can break this chain, to become a free, fulfilled person, an example for others, and the master of your life as your leader.

The way you can create a lifestyle according to your highest values and having results on all levels of life is…

DISCOVERING YOUR VOCATION

I tend to think that it is the highest point of human existence because it is the very definition of love put into practice.

Every human being has a vocation of his own, a purpose for which he lives, being endowed with special talents through which he can stand out among his peers, otherwise, he would not have come into this world.

"You have two things on this earth: to be happy and to be useful," said the Dalai Lama

Basically, by discovering and capitalizing on your vocation for the benefit of other people, you attract everything that is best in life and you will have peace and fulfillment.

I can tell you that the path to discovering your vocation is uncertain. You do not know how long it will take and you have no guarantee that you will find it. It's up to you how much time and energy you'll put into your vocation. In your place, I would be willing to pay whatever it is because I guarantee it is worth it! This is also the purpose of this article, to guide you through the 3 principles that will bring you closer to your vocation, and the PDF on the same topic that you receive when you subscribe to this blog via newsletter. It is a much more complex material than this article, totaling 70 pages on human vocation and potential.

For a start, no one can fully help you discover your vocation. You will be alone. Only you and your heart will know what to do, the obstacles you have to go through and the sufferings you will go through.

In the end, however, you will be a winner because you managed to get out of the vicious circle I told you about earlier, you will have a clear goal that will keep you alive and you will live fulfilled regardless of the hardships of life that will arise.

Finally, I want to give you 3 more principles that, if you are guided, you will be closer to your vocation:

1. Listen to your heart and be authentic!

It's feature number 1 to discover your vocation. Everything starts from here. When your interior is in harmony with what you do, say, and believe, things get a lot simpler. Being honest means staying true to your principles and being honest with yourself.

It can be a challenge because, as I mentioned, the outside voices are already there, ready to confuse you, and they've certainly left their mark on your mind. But another voice existed there before the others, that brought to the surface all that is best in you, no matter how insignificant and worthless you think you would be.

I mean YOUR SELF! He has been and will always be there, no matter how hard you try to run away from him.

When you start dedicating yourself to discovering your vocation, you will feel a very strong inner conflict between the voices of the outside world: family, entourage, society, which have already left their mark on you, forming false beliefs and the voice of yourself that is unique.

"Do what your heart tells you to do right - because you will be criticized anyway. You will be convicted no matter what you do. " - Eleanor Roosevelt

Your inner voice never goes wrong, and you've certainly heard it at different times in your life.

The voice of your heart has always whispered to you that you are an extraordinary person who has a destiny of his own that he must fulfill.

The voice of your heart has always been there in your difficult times when you felt that nothing made sense and that you should give up.

The voice of your heart has always sought to guide you on the path you need to take. She tells you that you are not someone and that you can do anything, no matter how insignificant or useless you may seem.

"Every man on the face of the earth has a treasure waiting for him somewhere," his heart told him. We, the hearts, are used to talking a little about these treasures because then people don't want to find them anymore. Then we let life lead everyone to their destiny. But, unfortunately, few follow the path that is set for them, that is, the path of Personal Legend and happiness. They think the world is threatening, and that's why the world is threatening. And then we, the hearts, speak more and more slowly, but we are never silent. And we don't want our words to be heard: we don't want people to suffer because they didn't follow their hearts. " Paulo Coelho

The voice of your heart urges you to discover your vocation! That's how he knows he's done his job. Living the vocation will bring you all that is most beneficial in this world. Certainly, your inner voice wants the best for you!

Stop listening to anyone when it comes to your vocation, or family, or friends, or me, or anyone else! Just seek to be congruent with your heart, the voice of the self. She already knows what's best for you.

Exercise: reserve 5–10–15 minutes a day just for you. Seek to get in touch with your inner self, to be able to contemplate what is with your life and where it is going. It is possible to hear the voice of the self speaking to you.

2. Ask yourself the right questions

You can't live in inertia by repeating endlessly over days.

If you wake up in the morning without having a clear thing in mind for which it is worth dedicating your time and energy and then go to bed in the evening without realizing what happened during the day, it is a problem!

  • You don't know what you're going to do today, you don't know what you're going to do tomorrow, then where are you going?
  • Does all the effort you put in now make sense?
  • After you finish what you are doing now, what will you do? What is your ultimate goal?
  • Will, what you do now benefit you and others in the future?
  • Where will the routine take you during the day?
  • Do you have the courage to follow your inner voice and follow your dreams?
  • What can you do now to solve your problems and lead the lifestyle you want?
  • What do you like to do the most, but haven't had the opportunity to practice for various reasons?

3. Act!

The vocation does not come if you are in vain! Get out into the world and experiment!

You will have to do as many things as possible and as diverse as possible, to cover as large an area of activity as possible.

If I'm still talking about your vocation, I have to give you my example, how it worked for me. I tried everything I could and had at hand: I gave 100% during high school in all subjects in the school curriculum, even if I didn't like anything; I volunteered, I helped my mother in agriculture, my father in construction, I experimented a little with music, I read dozens and dozens of books in many fields, I tried to learn as much as possible about spirituality seen through the prism of religious cults, I interacted with as many people as I could and tried to understand their reality, and other….

In the end, I was left with only writing, reading, and a passion for psychology and human potential. And I don't regret it. The effort was worth it. Now let's refer strictly to you.

If you go to school out of inertia without a well-defined purpose, you just watch series, play games, and gossip on Facebook, where will you end up?

Do these things bring you closer to your vocation? If it hasn't happened so far, I doubt a miracle will happen in the future.

Get out into the world and start experimenting and being open to new ideas and people. Do as many things as possible and see what suits you, what would be to your liking.

WARNING: You are not allowed to say that you do not like something until you do that thing and you give 100% to do that thing! If you say "I don't think I like it," you're fooling yourself. The first time you act, you are 100% present for that action and only then you can tell if it is for you or not!

After each completed action, ask yourself: Do I like what I did? Do I feel fulfilled in this activity? Can I do it indefinitely without getting bored? Can I become an expert in this, bringing benefits to myself and other people?

If you stay in your comfort zone, the vocation will not appear. Laziness means capping!

What is the smallest action that can bring you closer to your potential vocation?
