“The Haunting of Bly Manor”: Too Many Ghosts, Too Little Horror
Beware, dear reader, as you forge ahead into this article! Beware… mostly of spoilers and not much else. The scares in this creepy tale are not that impressive for a hardened horror fan like me but it is still a pleasant watch.

The Occasional Spooking of Bly Manor
There will be a spoiler warning when I begin talking about spoilers. You know what's funny? I really liked The Haunting Of Hill House, and yet I can't remember a thing about it. For all its hidden ghosties and ghoulies, its twists and turns and time jumps, and its spooky foreshadowing of The Red Room, I cannot remember a single thing about the plot.

The Haunting of Bly Manor: (Netflix TV Show Review)
The loss of a loved one can make a person behave in ways they might not otherwise would if the person were still alive. Paranoia from superstition, in certain cases, can be common symptoms of grief, and grief can make a person behave in ways that defy logic and reason.

The Haunting of Bly Manor Review
The Haunting of Hill House was an intense, scary series that brought chills down your spine not knowing if the bent-necked lady were to appear or not. The sub plots were intriguing and the house brought a sense of mystery because you weren't sure what dead soul was lurking around the next corner. I kow what you're thinking, this isn't a review for Bly Manor, but it is. I just wanted to express the difference between both seasons.

The Official Guide to Huluween
Hello Folks! I'm back at it with another list of spooky tv shows that I think will get you in the mood for Halloween...or, if you're like me, all year long. I'm going to be honest, there are WAY more tv shows on Huluween than Netflix. No tea, no shade, I love me some Netflix and this might be the other way around when I cover movies but I found so much good content when exploring Hulu.

The Haunting of Bly Manor (Netflix TV Show Review)
When one thinks of a haunting, a few things that typically come to mind are mist on a lake with a mansion in the background, or the sight of Norman Bates' big Victorian house with Norman standing at the top of the hill with a kitchen knife in his hand. Stephen Kings' "The Shining," a cursed hotel filled with the ghosts of people who died there, is also a great example.

100 Horror Movies in October: Update One
We're almost halfway through spooky month (although let's be honest it's 2020 so it's spooky year *laughs then cries*). I have seen many posts about the '31 days of horror' challenge which is fun but a few years ago I found what was basically that challenge on steroids: watch 100 horror movies in October. I've tried and failed several times before but now I know there's a horror community here on Vocal I thought I would document my failings for this year, and review the best and worst.

The Walking Dead: 6 Best Moments In 10x16, 'A Certain Doom'
After a long, anxious wait, fans have finally seen The Walking Dead's season 10 finale, 'A Certain Doom'. Thankfully, it was well worth the wait.
