My paranormal investigation part 4
This is the last installment for now of this series. I have some other posts I am working on so they should be coming soon, so stay tuned. I want to be able to try to do the investigations before I do too many research posts. Like always I will be telling you a little bit about this location and the history then I will tell you about why it's haunted and what is said to happen there.

Once Touched, Twice Scarred. Top Story - September 2021.
Mila was a kind soul. A tall slender woman, with soft African features complimenting her chocolate skin tone. She wore her hair in a parade of coloured braids, often donned by one of an array of colourful headscarves. Alongside interpretation of lost languages, she practised as a spiritual healer, often using crystals, homemade candles and herbs of which she would recommend different methods of use, dependant on the client and their purpose. Levi had always been fascinated with his mother's tattoos. They were an intricate mesh of beautiful patterns, wording that he could never read, images of distant lands and the strategic placement of constellations, decorating her skin. "Words and symbols of love and protection" she'd reassure his puzzled face "The truest words of the soul"

Soaring Vision
Traveling across country has always made me dreamy. The feeling of driving through familiar neighborhoods, the stop-and-go nature of the cities, racing through the flats, pretending I’m a professional racer drifting the hairpins in the mountains exhilarate my entire being. We were somewhere that had sprawling corn fields this time though. The mazes you could make and never get out of. How many could I create? Never enough, sadly.

Green To Go
There was little natural light illuminating the tiny living room, which was probably a good thing. The place was a mess. Empty food containers and beer cans littered the floor and coffee table. Ryan sat in a tattered recliner in the centre of this clutter, like a desert island surrounded by the flotsam and jetsam from his sunken ship. The curtains were drawn closed over the rooms solitary window, but as several of the rings holding them were broken, a thin strip of light breached the darkness. However, it did little to disperse the gloom hanging in the air, which seemed almost physical. The room was sparsely furnished. Apart from the armchair and coffee table there were only three other items. An old wooden dining chair stood up against the wall, next to the curtained window. A television, which sat on then carpeted floor, and which had been rendered useless since the electricity had been disconnected. The other piece was a large, oak bookcase which took up the entire wall across from the window and dominated the area in an almost claustrophobic manner. Books were stacked higgledy-piggledy on the shelves, in no apparent order.

The Town That Hungers
Far from the well-worn paths, but not so far as to be unreachable, lies a little town with a grim burden. Tucked away in the north, nestled in tall hills those of the true north would scoff at if you called them mountains, the inhabitants of this little town live and die and return.
