The Green Guardian
"Hey, Sarge, look." Hank looked up from his phone and saw that one of the Inmates had raised a scarecrow in front of the leaf pile they'd been making. He was unsurprised to find that it was Jasper. Jasper had always been more of a talker than a worker, and today it was clear that his rake hadn't seen much use. He had come across an old green button-up shirt and stuffed it with leaves, making the body bulge oddly. He'd put a sack head on top to complete the ugly golem and drawn a crude scarecrow face on the front. The whole works had been stuck on top of a broken rake handle and stuck in the ground before the ever-growing leaf pile. It hung there like a silent guardian as the inmates raked their piles closer and closer to the growing mound.

Ghosts, Ghouls & Gore Galore & more-horror films & shows vol.1
Comedy horror. comedic horror. haha get spooked This can be paradies or just funny horror movies. They prioritize the jokes, but there's a boo factor there even if it's not meant to outright scare you, the people in the movie are hilariously scared.

Halloween 1978 is a true classic
When people look back at certain genres they all have instant classics that come to mind. Horror is no different as the slasher era has gone on to redefine what it means to be a horror film. A few films had inspiration over that change but perhaps none more than Halloween in 1978.

Candyman: Impact of a Legend
”What do the good know other than what the bad teach them by their excesses…?” This is perhaps my favorite quote from the 1992 psychological horror/slasher film Candyman. There are not too many people who are unfamiliar with that name. For the past 30 years this film has sent a fearful shiver down the spines of all who have seen it. Candyman was released in October of 1992, written and directed by Bernard Rose and based off a short story titled “The Forbidden” by Clive Barker. Candyman was unlike anything anyone had ever seen before in the slasher genre. It carried a psychological shock factor, it’s primary antagonist was an African American male, and it’s story was centered around the taboo fourth wall of American society, Race. All of these combining factors would make Candyman one of the most iconic staples in horror/slasher history.

Beauty is Skin Deep
Reign looked up from her Anatomy 101 book to see the incarnation of Adonis. The flowing shoulder-length blond hair and chiseled jaw formed into a bright smile of pearly white teeth. Sparkling blues eyes pierced her soul as he made eye contact. Have I died and gone to heaven? Is he an angel?

Dream Eater
Michelle huffed angrily as she noticed that her dream catcher had fallen off the ceiling again. She checked under the bed, behind the nightstand, and even in the bathroom in case it had rolled inside. Nothing. No dream catcher and no sign of where it had gone. It wasn't as if it was uncommon or anything. Michelle had been replacing dream catchers for most of her life, but the older she got, the more annoying it became.
