Movie Review: 'Possessor' is Visually Dynamic, Creepy and Violent
Possessor has me vexed. This sci-fi horror movie from the son of legendary director David Cronenberg, Brandon Cronenberg, is visually dynamic and compelling in a disturbing fashion. But, what is the movie about? I am not sure I know what Brandon Cronenberg is intending to say with this movie that carries themes about identity, gender, violence and psychopathy. It’s a film packed with ideas but none of those ideas resonates as much as I believe they should.

‘Death of Me’ Is a Waste of Time for the Audience, But a Nice Paid Vacation for the Cast and Crew
It’s not easy being a horror buff in 2020. By now, a lot of intriguing horror films should have already come out: from Spiral, the new Saw movie starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson; Antlers, director Scott Cooper’s first entry in the horror genre; Candyman, the promising new entry of the Candyman franchise, which similar to Halloween (2018), will be a direct sequel to the original and ignore the rest; and we shouldn’t forget Halloween Kills, the highly unnecessary sequel to the Halloween 2018 movie which was supposed to have come out this Halloween. Though, in all fairness, any of the follow-ups to John Carpenter’s original classic have been unnecessary.

Shhh! The worms can hear you!
Creature features are a lost art in the horror film category. What is a creature-feature you ask? It's a horror flick in which one or more monsters play a pivotal role throughout the movie. Some popular creature features that are more well-known throughout the generations are Godzilla, King Kong, and Nosferatu, also known as Dracula. However, the first documented film of its kind was called "The Golem", a lost silent film made in 1915.

'Get Out': There Is No Rose Without Thorns
Jordan Peele’s gripping directorial debut is not as gory as the other horror films I’ve seen. However, that did not stop it from making my heart leap continuously in my chest. The intro of this satirical horror-thriller had me chuckling at the humour that was injected into the film, misleading me about the terror that was in store. In Peele’s defence, he did try to subtly warn me with the lyrics of Childish Gambino’s song, Redbone, but I was too busy singing to make the connection.

Split - A Movie Review
We have to figure out a way to outwit Kevin Wendell Crumb. Split is a 2016 thriller about three girls who are kidnapped by a deranged man. This isn’t just any man. Diagnosed with a personality disorder, the man encases several peculiar entities. Planning out their escape, the girls are not in for an easy fight.

Let the Right One In- Movie Review
Do you prefer to watch movies in English, in other languages or both? If you answer yes to this question, I have a great blog for you! At the age of 18, I started watching foreign horror movies like Let the Right One In (Låt den Rätte Komma In- 2008) in the Swedish language. Since Let the Right One In is not offered on Netflix, I would find a free version of the movie to watch from my phone, computer or iPad on platforms like YouTube and Putlocker. Since I became so fascinated by the characters, the setting and the whole theme of the movie, I continued watching this movie over 80 times within two years.

Forget the effects. This is why The Exorcist will scare you through Halloween and beyond
I felt it. But it wasn’t really there. The silence of the soupy air hanging heavy on my body. The snap crackle of the night twinging every hair. My breath booming to me alone.

Scary Thrillers
Ladies and gentlemen in this article I am going to name a few movies that would make perfect movies to watch for Halloween. I will start this list off with some of the old school classics then move into the newer made movies. The first movie that I am going to mention is Halloween. What would Halloween be if we did not watch the movie Halloween? Halloween is one of the perfect movies to fit with the holiday Halloween. In some families to watch the movie Halloween on Halloween is a must and there is no getting out of it. It has become a tradition to watch this movie on this holiday. If you have not experienced this movie yet on the holiday then you should definitely do it. Halloween is about the thrills and chills with everyone running around in their costumes. I would not recommend this movie for the kids though. Do not forget to throw in Rob Zombie's version of Halloween one and two.
