The Trip
One day a 15 year old girl named Skylar also known as Sky, was taken on a 5- day trip with her Best Friends Jake, Emma, Kai, Alex, Brooklyn and Jordan. She knew all of them since she was 3 years old. But, Sky did not want to go on the trip because she was trying to watch her Favorite movie that was coming out on Netflix in 2 days!! Too bad she couldn’t watch it the first day it came out… Sky decided to go on a walk that afternoon and ran into a stranger and the stranger gave her a special watch that he claimed to be “Magical” but Skylar thought it was just a joke so she thanked the man and walked away leaving the old man behind in happily… then a few minutes later she bumped into another man but he looked just like the other man that gave her the watch, she ask the man “ Who are you and why do you look like the same man who tried to give me a watch???” the old man replied “ I’m so sorry young lady, that is My twin brother! But yeah you really should get back I mean you don’t want to get eaten by the mysterious cannibal” the man replied. “Mysterious cannibal? You mean whoever it is...may eat me?” Skylar said in fear

[Originally published on my old blog, Halloween, 2013.] Natasha shivered in the corner of the shattered room, racing against the sputtering warmth of her dying candle. She held in her numb hands her last connection to the outside world—the Morse Code telegraph that had been serendipitously stowed with the emergency supplies in the one corner of the room not destroyed. Or perhaps the devices had been placed everywhere, in the event of catastrophe, but there was no one left to ask.

Abduction
My name is Stephen and I am in a mental ward because I disappeared off of the face of the earth a few weeks ago, or at least I think a few weeks ago, only to be found naked and cold as I wandered around an old field. Sure, I'm sorry for the shock that it must have caused Mrs. Davis, our postal lady. But it really wasn't my fault.

The Killer
It was early in the morning. Nobody else was awake except for 3 people, A little girl named Emily and her mother, and a guy... Everything seemed fine at first, until... “Mommy mommy wake up” A little girl named Emily called out, while trying to wake up her mother, “Yes, honey?” The mother answered. “Can we please see the new movie today?” Emily asked, excitedly. “Yes, Just let me wake up a little bit more, why don’t you go downstairs and sit at the table so I can get breakfast for you?” her mother said. “Ok,” Emily said, rushing out of the bedroom and down the stairs. Emily’s mother walked out into the hallway and into the bathroom, to wash her face. Emily sat down at the table waiting for her mother to come down. Her mother grabbed the bar of Lavender soap and her red washcloth, and started rubbing them together. Once the washcloth was lathered. She put the bar of soap down, and held the washcloth with both hands and started to scrub her face. Once she was down scrubbing every inch of her face, she put the washcloth down and turned on the water to Lukewarm, and cupped her hands so she could hold water in them, she put her hands under the running water until her hands were halfway filled with water, and splashed the water onto her face. She got all the soap off her face, and then turned off the water. She dried her face and walked out of the bathroom. She walked downstairs, to see her daughter calmly sitting down and waiting at the table for breakfast. “Oh, my!” she said, “I forgot all about breakfast!” she claimed, rushing into the kitchen. She walked towards the pantry door and opened it.

Hello, Sweetheart
10:21PM – Monday, March 16th, 2015 Fairy tales hardly ever come true for quiet girls. At least, that’s what my mother used to tell me right before she’d down her second bottle of red and pass out for the night. I always wondered why she had taken me for a quiet girl, because inside, I was screaming.

Ebay Power Seller
~ Ebay Power Seller ~ Roger had been an avid Ebay seller for over five years, but there came a time when he ran out of items to list, and prospects of finding new items grew dim. One day, while idly searching Ebay listings, he came upon human skulls being offered, and saw that they were getting $850 to $1,200 each.

Fall of The Wrathful Dragon
Waking up, a man comes too, he looks around and sees the red sky, the sounds of screams and destruction from every direction. He pushes off debris that lay on top of him and stand up, almost falling back down. He looks around some more and wobbles his way towards a building yet to collapse and falls to the ground. He crawls over to a nearby wall and pulls out a med pack so he can fix himself up a bit. As he tends to his wounds, he remembers what lead to him getting knocked out, how everything happened.

A Greater Love
“What a mess,” He sighed, crimson stains collecting on the black leather of his shoes as he walked through the room. The man traced his fingers alongside the bedside table, leaning over to blow out a candle. The smoke wisped up and curled aimlessly in the air. He sauntered around the room, sidestepping the prone figure sprawled on the ground, his eyes fixed on the trembling woman in the corner of the room.

Devil’s Deal
February 17th, 1842. A distant clatter woke him in the dead of the night. He held his breath and thought, this is it, this is the end. Reluctantly he opened his eyes and adjusted to the shadows around him. He lay in his warm bed, surrounded by his lavish belongings… the ones he had traded his soul for. It had been so easy when he was sleeping on the dirty streets surrounded by horse manure and begging for food. Those gray days ten years prior made him long for sweet, sweet death. He did not regret his decision at the time; he’d end up dead anyway. Overnight he had a job and reputation. He had gained a station in society and money started pouring in faster than he could spend it. He hired the help to clean and cook for him, to clean his clothes and dress him. He had a room just for the tub in which he bathed in warm water and the mansion he called home.

The Cost of Freedom
The frame cracked the air after Jeremiah whipped the restroom door shut; enough to resonate throughout the house. Yet it was still drowned out by the incessant whirlwind that was the howling of his parents. Dad was at fault this time - he caused a fender bender last night in the downpour causing Mom to be profane over the cost of repairs coming out of the Christmas budget. The fight went beyond naughty, not that they should be rewarded with coal. A spark from them would reduce the house to a smoldering pit. Jeremiah’s anxiety paralyzed him as he worried about unrelated things to escape the noise. Unknowingly gripping the handles of the sink in front of the mirror, his makeup melted from a joyful mime to a flustered sideshow clown from a combination of the steam rising and the sweat raining. The costume felt ruined, he stood calculating for longer than he should have. Even worse, the overflow snuck its way to his weathered black journal. Jeremiah desperately slapped it to the floor to prevent further soaking because inside was Jeremiah’s golden ticket.
