Horror fiction that delivers on its promise to scare, startle, frighten and unsettle. These stories are fake, but the shivers down your spine won't be.
Unbelievable Bad Times in Downville
I'm mediocre, this isn't a self-pitying phrase for you to feel sorry for me. By the way, I don't give a damn what you think about me either, we don't know each other and I'm not quite willing to fill your head with catchphrases and pretty stories. Life is brutal, that's all we need to know.

Frostbite
“Yo, Johnny, we’re leaving!” He rubbed his hands together as a tremor rolled down his spine. Even the insulated cabin was unable to keep the briskness of the frozen world at bay. He scanned his checklist once more: two flash lights, extra batteries, hand warmers, ropes, two blankets, soup, and two thermos of hot tea. A third check was scribbled beside each item. Their journey would be no longer than a few hours, but he wanted to prepare for the worst. And with his luck, it was inevitable.

This Now Reality
Narsid lay upon a rumpled morning bed with arms beside his body as if in a casket. His eyes rolled up and back in his head. He was thinking. The apex of time and high point of memories. The huge pear tree. An amorphous wispy green visage that charmed and beckoned. He had lived so many lifetimes chasing a green ghost. He sensed that time was drawing to a close now. He and the ghost needed to be together.

Deep Wounds
“That’s the last one, you’re good to go now,” I tell my sister as I give her the last box. “Are you sure you don’t need me to help you with anything else?” She is taking a long time getting all the boxes inside her car. She was supposed to be on her way home an hour ago, but as always, she refuses to leave me alone.

Common Curses Over Conversation
“This story should not be told. Though, you have a right to hear it. If you are going to keep your children safe. Considering… you are aware of each other now. Damn technology.” Gregory Mitchel says picking up and putting a flame on a smoldering cigar.

Dust Bunny
The Brockton boys, 10-year-old Killian and 9-year-old Kieran were mean little spoiled snots. Their mother thought they could do no wrong and their father just didn't give a lick as long as they didn't interrupt his sitcoms. Both sets of grandparents competed on who could buy them the best, newest, hottest, trendiest, most expensive gifts they could find for the boys. Between these six adults, they created two of the biggest Holy Terrors to ever live in the little township of Billsville.

The Girl in the Mirror
“I can’t escape! Let me be free!” a scared, shrieking voice of a girl cries out. “What do you want from me? What do you expect from me? Why do you obsess over me? I have so many questions and they all go unanswered. You don’t respond either. I can only go off of speculation.” The young girl cries on what appears to be her bed. Tears drip onto the floor. A follower seems to be copying her very actions; crying on the bed. Though, this follower doesn’t have a voice. She’s a voice thief. Stealing voices of her victims. Copying all their day-to-day actions. Taunting her victims that they will never be perfect like her. Though she doesn’t smirk or grin or even laugh. Instead, she cries with her victim. She understands her victims well and doesn’t use their weaknesses against them. During the day, she’s merely a shadow of her victims. When night falls, she’s merely an identical twin.
