A Turtle's Tail
Mustard the Turtle There once was a turtle named Mustard. He loved to eat clouds. One day he ate a leaf. The next day he played Mario Kart and played as Koopa. He lost to Donkey Kong. He got so mad that he ate breakfast at Burger King. He asked for a Big Mac and got kicked out, so he went to Dairy Queen. He ordered a banana split but then remembered he is allergic to them. So he just got a blue raspberry slush. Later that day he played basketball with a deer. They considered it a draw because Mustard was a turtle and the deer was a deer so they couldn’t really play basketball. So then they had a slumber party on a mushroom. Mustard used to live in a child’s sandbox but now he lives in a tire. One night he was run over and killed.

Dreams
Dreams... Dreams can be wonderful. But every once and a while they can become a nightmare, frightening the warmth out of the soul. Have you ever been trapped in a nightmare? It may start off peaceful, but throughout the night, the darkness takes over the light. You feel chills throughout your body. You try to wake but the fear of running from whatever is coming overthrows your ability to open your eyes. I have had this very experience. almost every night, I feel as if I’m awake but my body weighs 1000 pounds. Unable to wake, unable to escape the very thing I fear most. It may sound silly but it’s real. My nightmares feel real. If they can happen when I’m awake and prevent me from doing the one thing I can to avoid them. What is stopping them from controlling me? Nothing. They trap me. They hold me down and torture me. I am afraid to sleep. It has been days since I last shut my eyes. I fear the thought of sleep. When I close my eyes, I can feel it overpowering my body. Constricting my chest. You may ask why this is happening, or when it all started. I wish I didn’t know the answers to that. Unfortunately, I know exactly why it’s happening. I let my curiosity get the best of me. And this time it’s slowly killing me.

The Following Night
I woke up in a log cabin in the mountains. I was unsure as to where I was or what I was doing but as I looked around, I realized that the room was empty minus the bed I was on and I was covered in blood, though the blood was not mine. My head was pounding like the day after a long night of vodka and tequila, but I don't remember drinking the night before.

Spontaneous Human Combustion
Trust me when I tell you my tale is real. I was there. I saw it happen. I know most will find it hard to swallow. For all those who find it hard to believe, please keep in mind that I’m only telling my tale to help others. In fact, it pains me to even think about what happened, much less talk about it. I hope that in hearing my tale that it can keep others from meeting this unfortunate fate.

Cargo Trip
The engine of Mateo’s Cessna 208 hummed like a metallic wasp as the blur of the propeller quivered outside the windshield. Far below, 20,000 feet to be exact, the Colombian shore gave way to the gentle lapping of the Atlantic. The turquoise water was calm today and the sky was clear, spotted by the occasional cloud. This was good for Mateo, good for his flight and good for business. His last trip had been plagued by a massive storm coming off the ocean and had rattled his brains along with his cargo. What exactly he had been carrying, Mateo didn’t care. He never asked questions. That’s how someone in his line of work stayed in business and stayed alive. It had been the same procedure with the current shipment, no questions, one drop off, and fifteen percent of the cut was his.

Survive the Night
Hello All, it's been awhile but here I am once more. Like I may have mentioned before I love horror movies, and since the only thing, that really scares me is.....ZOMBIES. I can handle Michael Myers and Freddy, but humans tearing into my flesh and eating me alive is very scary.

The Boy
The boy would be safe here, tucked up inside the toy cupboard. Surely, he would be safe. He had no idea what was going on outside now that Mummy and Daddy had stopped screaming, and the men had stopped shouting. The remaining sounds, the snarls and the wet ripping noises, were alien to him, made more terrifying by their relative quiet in comparison to the storm of screams that had gone before.

The Shattered Mirrors
I sat alone in a darkened room. The light flickered through the window due to the odd car that flew past at high speed. The quiet yet deafening tick of the clock spread throughout the rooms of this forbidden house, the creaking of wooden floorboards groaning above me while I read. The dusted parchments littered the floor and my legs as I scanned through them, a curious fleck of amazement flickering in my sharp blue eyes that absorbed the information carefully spread across the paper.

Beautiful Nightmare Part 3
"Please... I'm sorry." I pause and look up from where I'm cleaning the blood off the 'tail in the attached bathroom. Mariah is a sight to behold, dripping blood from multiple open welts that dot the once pristine landscape of her body. She looks good like that, all open and sore and filled with agony.
