Dance of a Lifetime
Sand and dust shifted beneath my feet, hot from the sun that glared high in the sky, it's burning rays catching on the curves and waves of the orange scarf that I waved above my head, a ribbon of fire. I twisted, bending low and spun upwards, the black coils of my hair gleaming onyx, the beads braided throughout it gleaming like gold as I spun and spun, dancing to the music in my soul, taking me higher and higher. I raised my arms to the sky, catching the sun in my scarf, a glowing orb trapped between my outstretched arms.

Soul of a Demon
Baharsh stared up at the night sky, knowing he needed to go in and explain to his company what he had done and why. He knew they all had questions, and he knew he still didn't have the answers. He had replayed what happened over and over again, but could not come up with an explanation regarding his draw to the woman. He knew many powerful demon women, but the key word there was demon. He had no use for humans beyond tactical secrets, and he was a trusted leader in the High Commanders army. Why had he risked Reihnash's anger? Exasperated, he leaned against the cave opening and closed his eyes as his second in command approached him.

The Window
Wake up. Coffee. Go to class. Do homework. Go to bed. Repeat. I woke up and had my coffee. I met Jazlyn at the café on the hill on the way into campus. The warm bitter air rushed over my skin as I stepped in to the café. Jazlyn was already sitting at an empty table with two coffees. She was all bundled up in an oversized sweater and a coat on top of that. I was jealous, because I forgot to check the weather and was only wearing a t-shirt under my own coat. Jazlyn stood as soon as she saw me and handed over the coffee.

Siren's Song
The comforting, dazzling light of the nearby star urged Nivana to relax. Her limbs floated weightlessly, buoyed by the expanse of space all around her. Distant planets winked at her and cheerful nebulas bathed their infinite colors over her skin. Only her breathing and the occasional beeping reminder that her suit was in working order broke the silence of the universe.

When will it end part 2
The stench he left me in started to become bearable a little bit more as the days passed. My brothers body was the tell tale sign days were passing in this space of darkness. The composing body slowly decayed in front of me, I have nothing left inside to cry for him. He did not deserve any of this, non of them do especially because of me. I let my head hang with the rest of me, the hunts man decided to tighten my chains so I could not move away from my brother. I stared into nothing wondering how to end it all without taking part, I could not care about escaping. There is nothing left to escape for anymore, the thought of returning to my family now disappears slowly with my brothers skin. I began to throw up once more and tried to tilt my head so I would choke on it.

Those who walk in Darkness
“They are like the ghost of past present and future except they are all present. They are never ceasing, didn’t you read that? Your situation whatever you have done – and please do not tell me, I do not wish to be involved - you millennials simply disgust me. Whatever you have done, you must atone for your sins or your life will only continue to get worse from here on out.
