DEEP FOREST ELF
Just like other times, my grandmother always affirmed that this story was true. On a recent trip back to my hometown, I tried to ask my relatives near home. And it was surprising when they all confirmed that what my grandmother told me was true. Although there are many different versions, the main character is the same old woman. She is very old, lived so long that she turned into an ogre. A goblin that eats people.

THE GUIDE TO THE UNDERWORLD. Content Warning.
In a certain city there was a grumpy old man that no one could get close to. He had no one by his side to take care of him, even when the weather was bad or when he was sick. When the neighbors came to help, he angrily cursed and chased them all away, leaving no one behind. Over time, no one cares anymore.

My Favourite Short Scary Stories!. Content Warning.
There is nothing I love more than scary stories. The adrenaline! The rush of fear! If you know me then you would know how much I love telling creepy tales, especially during a sleepover with my friends. What I enjoyed the most were the short collections that I collected online as a kid, and I thought it might be fun to share these stories with everyone. Until this day, whenever I tell these stories it never fails to impress so here they are, five of some of my favourite short scary stories!

RING TONE. Content Warning.
Dan and I found a temporary place to stay in a small town. Industry has not yet completely controlled this place, so I can rest assured with jars of fish sauce and fresh fish without packaging. There is no internet here yet, electromagnetic waves are frequently disturbed, so I have no way to contact the rest of the group. We backpackers usually don't carry much money with us, so staying in town for too long will be difficult. Although the rent here is very cheap, we may have to leave soon. For now, I have to wait for Dan to finish repairing the car so I can continue the journey.

SCREAMS IN THE NIGHT
The boat was rocking in the middle of the water, I was scared as I sat tightly clinging to the side of the boat, my eyes wandering as I looked at the dimly lit night sky with the nineteen moonlight. We sat piled together in the boat compartment. The two big men rowing the boat lightly tapped on the roof to signal that we had arrived at a safe place and we could move a little. The bow rower lifted the leaf cover to look in.

KNOW! MISS! THEN FORGET!. Content Warning.
For some reason, every time I wake up I'm sweating, my heart beats fast and I feel extremely short of breath. I can't remember what I dreamed about, or how I felt, I just know that every time I wake up I feel like I just got into a bloody fight with someone, or something. There is no flicker of any image I have seen. This has been happening over and over for the past week! I was really worried about my health, so I decided to go for a checkup earlier than usual, and the result was that I was fine. At least physically.

THE GHOST OF DEATH
On the road from Saigon to Long An, passersby noticed an old villa located on a vast plot of land, about twenty kilometers from Long An bridge. That is the Phuoc Loc Tho villa of the Ma family, a rich Chinese businessman who came to Vietnam to start a business at the end of the last century.

BUS NUMBER 26. Content Warning.
Bus route number 26 is always crowded, no matter what time it is. When An finished school, it was difficult to jostle to get on the bus, but once on the bus, the smell of people, the smell of sweat, the smell of road dust, all mixed with the smell of air conditioning, created a mixed atmosphere that if it weren't for the arrest. Surely no one will want to endure it.
