On the road from Saigon to Long An, passersby noticed an old villa located on a vast plot of land, about twenty kilometers from Long An bridge. That is the Phuoc Loc Tho villa of the Ma family, a rich Chinese businessman who came to Vietnam to start a business at the end of the last century.

Like most Chinese people who set up business in Vietnam, the Ma family came to Saigon with empty hands, and like Uncle Hoa, a Chinese billionaire in Vietnam, the Ma family also worked as a scrap dealer in Vietnam. first years. But less than twenty years later, he became one of the most powerful Chinese businessmen in Cho Lon. It was during this time that he built a villa on Saigon Long - An street to have a place to rest on weekends.

death ghost

Around the 60s, the owner of the Phuoc Loc Tho villa was Ma Hong Long, the grandson of the billionaire Ma family. At that time, Mr. and Mrs. Hong Long were over sixty, and although the villa was very spacious, there were only the two of them, a driver, a chef and a maid living there.

One day, around the middle of July 1962, Dr. Nguyen D.H., the family doctor of the Ma family, was taken by a driver to the clinic to pick him up at the Phuoc Loc Tho villa for an urgent visit. for Mrs. Hong Long who is seriously ill.

Upon arrival, Dr. H. was invited to wait in the side living room, a small dark room because the window was covered by a large tree. In the corner of the room is an old staircase leading upstairs.

After about fifteen minutes, just as Dr. H. started to feel impatient, the door to the room opened and a woman walked in. Because it was dark and because the room was poorly lit, Dr. H. could not see the young woman's face clearly, but only had the impression that she was very young, beautiful, and dressed in expensive clothes. The golden bracelets on the young woman's hands touched each other in rhythm with her steps, creating a strange sound while the earrings and the golden necklace on the young woman's neck radiated faint golden light.

As if not paying attention to Dr. H., the young woman walked straight to the stairs, paused for a few seconds at the foot of the stairs as if she seemed shy before slowly walking up. When nearing the top of the stairs, the young woman stopped, turned to look down at Dr. straight into the young woman's face.

This was the first time Dr. H. had the opportunity to see her face clearly. The young woman's face had a strange beauty, yet her charm seemed to rest on her features, half cruelly passionate, half desperate.

The young woman's dress and figure show that she belongs to the upper class. With her white hands and long fingers, with her naturally curvaceous body, with her luxurious clothes and expensive jewelry, the strange young woman seemed to exude a strange charm. Dr. H. stood rooted to the spot, staring into the young woman's eyes, a pair of eyes with a ghostly charm.

the spectre

Doctor H. felt the atmosphere in the room change markedly with the presence of the young woman. Although he is a courageous person, Dr. H. suddenly felt like a cold air penetrated his spine, making him shiver and get goosebumps. Staring at the young woman, he felt like he was not looking at a beautiful woman but at a hopelessly tormented soul.

After looking at Dr. H and smiling devilishly, the young woman turned around and slowly walked upstairs and transformed. While still surprised by what had just happened and wondering who that woman was, Dr. H. was invited to visit Ms. Hong Long. The next morning, Dr. H. returned to visit the patient and felt satisfied when Ms. Hong Long's condition had improved significantly.

Before saying goodbye, Dr. H. told Mr. Hong Long about what he saw the previous day and asked Mr. Hong Long who that young woman was. To Dr. H.'s surprise, the owner replied with a look of despair:

- Huh! I'm willing to accept anything but that.

Then he told Dr. H. that the young woman he saw the day before was not a flesh and blood person but the sinful ghost of a woman, his grandfather's daughter - that is, his aunt. of him, who murdered her newborn child, the result of adultery between her and her brother-in-law. After her death, her soul could not escape and remained to haunt the Phuoc Loc Tho villa.

She only appeared in a single room, where Dr. H. waited, and every time she appeared, someone in the villa would surely die.

Mr. Hong Long added:

- The last time she appeared was the day my son drowned in Nha Trang. Her appearance yesterday had only one meaning: My wife would not survive.

Although Dr. H. reassured Mr. Hong Long that he should not worry too much about his wife's illness because Mrs. Hong Long had shown clear signs of recovery and was no longer in a critical condition, the owner The staff of Phuoc Loc Tho villa still seemed extremely worried, and Ms. Hong Long died that day, a few hours after Dr. H. left this place.

A few years later, a client of Dr. H. came to see him about his sister's condition. According to her, her sister is currently seriously ill because of her imagination or hallucinations.

dormitory ghost

She recounted that, about two weeks ago, she and her husband and her younger sister drove to the Phuoc Loc Tho villa to visit Mr. Hong Long, but he was not home. While she and her husband were talking to the chef in the living room, her sister entered a small room next door, a room with an old staircase leading to the top.

After a while, when they couldn't find their sister, they went to look for her and found her in a state of crisis in a small room. The younger sister gasped and recounted that while she was in the room, a beautiful, elegantly dressed young woman entered. As she passed her on the way toward the stairs, the strange young woman shook her arms so hard that the bracelets rattled.

Up the middle of the stairs, the young woman stopped and looked at the girl with a ghostly look that made the girl scream in horror but couldn't make a sound.

Dr. H.'s female client said:

- We laughed and told my brother that he was probably asleep or imagining things, but he firmly said that he had really seen a woman.

Doctor H. asked again:

- So do you know who lived in that villa and passed away after you visited?

- Yes, when we arrived, Mr. Hong Long was in the hospital and he passed away that afternoon.

Doctor H. then explained:

- Your sister is not imagining things because I saw that ghostly woman with my own eyes the day Mrs. Hong Long passed away.

Then Dr. H. recounted his lifelong experience in the small room with the old staircase before adding:

- I think you should not make fun of or express doubt about what your sister tells you. If possible, please bring your sister to see me as soon as possible.

The next day, her younger sister went to see Dr. H. and after both sides exchanged personal experiences about meeting the ghost of a young woman in the Phuoc Loc Tho villa, the girl's illness almost completely improved. and less than two weeks later she had completely recovered.

After Mr. Hong Long's death, the Phuoc Loc Tho villa was abandoned for many years, although the woman's ghost appeared one last time in 1975.

Around mid-April 1975, when the South was in a state of boiling oil, a platoon of Army Rangers came to camp in the grounds of Phuoc Loc Tho villa. The soldiers were ordered not to set foot inside the mansion because although this place was abandoned, it was still private property.

One afternoon, hearing an unusual noise coming from inside the villa, a platoon sergeant asked the platoon leader for permission to let him in to investigate.

death notice

With the approval of his superiors, the sergeant pushed the side door and entered because the door was unlocked. Carefully walking in the pale light of sunset in the closed gate house, when he reached a small room with an old staircase, the sergeant was suddenly startled when a young woman suddenly appeared from behind. Go straight towards the door towards the stairs. He shouted loudly:

- Who are you?

The young woman pretended not to hear, still walking towards the stairs before climbing up.

When the young woman was halfway up the stairs, the sergeant shouted again:

- Who are you? Stop.

The woman stopped and looked down at the sergeant with a ghostly look that made him, even though he was a brave soldier, suddenly goosebumps as he felt a chill run down his spine. While the sergeant stood still, the young woman turned and walked to the top of the stairs before disappearing.

While the sergeant was stunned and didn't know what to do, suddenly an explosion rang out outside. He then hurriedly threw straws. An aimless artillery shell from the Vietnamese army fell on the gate of the villa, killing a soldier on guard.

After April 30, 1975, the Phuoc Loc Tho villa was occupied by the Vietnamese army and since then people have never seen the woman's ghost appear again.
