MY MOTHER IN LAW AND HER SNAKE FINAL PART

My body never stopped being weak, I called my friend from the village and told him about it.

You better go to church Asiphile, prayers might help you - said my friend.
No I'll just ask my wife for some money and go to the doctor -i said.

Later my wife came with my mother in law and I asked her for some money - baby you know my body has never stopped getting weak like I told you before so I was thinking about going to see a doctor.
As I was still talking she responded - No you will heal with time those doctors only wants money, they actually making us more sick with their medical.

As for Noluthando she was getting jealous of seeing me with her sister - I think you should break up with Nobuhle - said Noluthando.

I thought we made it clear that we won't take what we have seriously and your sister is the love of my life, you Know that- I said.

I was just in shock if whether this was true or she was just lying to get with me.

As for me I went to bed with my eyes wide open that night, I was afraid to go to sleep or even be in the same bed as Nobuhle, knowing that she is a snake. So I stayed up till morning and I could see the anger in her face. Because she didn't get to have my blood.

We was on the way to the house, I couldn't leave Noluthando and my unborn child, with that snake. This time both my uncle and Aunt including their pastor was around.

As I was about to run to the basement for Noluthando. The snake crawled ahead of me and hit me with its tail.i fell so hard, I was already weak as my body needed blood.

The pastor ran after it to the basement as he was praying the house was shaking even harder, you could see how powerful the snake was, and it wasn't backing down.

Help, help- Noluthando screaming after she saw the snake.

I managed to get up - are you just Standing there? This is all your fault do something, I said to my mother in law.

What do you want me to do? If you didn't cheat on Nobuhle we wouldn't be in this situation. You could have long died and I'd still have my luxurious life. - said mother in law.

I ran into the basement - and the pastor, my uncle an aunty was praying so hard. - with fear written all over their faces.
It was a kind of snake you wouldn't want to get close to, it was the size of an anaconda,

As I was about to speak- its mouth opened wide and swallowed Noluthando.

That was it, I couldn't save her and so was the pastor. But they never stopped praying.

The snakes skin started falling and so was the big house.

Mother in law was already out the gate running for her life.
We too had to follow as for Noluthando, she was nomore, she was eaten by the snake.

Immediately as we got out the house it collapsed ,with the snake still inside. And a big fire started...

Let's go tell the police.- Uncle.
When we got to the police station and told them about a snake that turned into a human they just laughed at us.

So you want us to believe that you was married to a snake? - said one police man with laughter.
Sir please we have serious cases to deal with, just get out of here, we left and never looked back.

The news about a burning house that fell down, broke out to the public and even on the news it was reported. They searched the whole thing and they didn't even find a trace of anyone.

I had thought they would find a dead snake with, Noluthando inside. - uncle did you hear what they said on the news?
They didn't find anything from that house. What do you think happened to the snake.

A month went by and it was clear to me that the snake is dead and so was Nobuhle.

A crazy woman appeared in our village, and people started talking about her.
I was walking to the store when I overheard people talking on the street.

(I don't even feel sorry for her, I heard she had a ritual snake )- strangers talking.

So I stopped them to hear more about this woman they was speaking of. - hey, did I just hear you two talk about an old crazy woman?can you show me where she is.

And they gave me a direction and I ran to see whom they could have been talking about.

The crazy woman noticed me first, and ran out of a crowd that had surrounded her to me - she's alive, she's alive ( the first word she said, to me)

It was my mother in law she had gone insane. Walking around the streets bear- foot and wearing plastics for clothes.

Who is alive -i said.

All my children are alive, and calling out for help, do you hear them ? - she said.

I left her alone and didn't even make it to the store.i ran back home , all confused about what she was saying.

I told my uncle and aunty about what I saw and heard. They too couldn't believe it.

But she has gone mad and she just could be hearing things that don't even exist so do you believe her? - Said my Aunt,Yeah but you are right, she could have just been saying things.

Later at night while I was asleep I got woken up by a loud voice coming from the street, I woke up and looked outside through the window, it was my mother in law and she was screaming out the words she had said to me earlier. -They alive they alive.

My uncle heard her screaming too and woke up - So you wasn't lying about this witch going crazy, but what is she doing here Asiphile?

I don't know uncle but do u hear what I was talking about, she still saying her children are alive.

Uncle wanted her away from his yard and wanted to call the cops.
No no uncle how about I take her out of here - I said. Then I went outside to talk to her.

Hey lady get out here now or my uncle will call the police.
My children and your baby boy are alive.- mother in law said and took off running.

I ran after her as well and got through roads i have never walked before through the bushes till she reached a lake,then I hid around the tree to see what was going on.

I saw her getting fully naked and getting deep into the water.
I started getting the fear and realizing I'm all by myself In the middle of nowhere.

It got quite and for minutes my mother in law never came out of that water.

For about 20 minutes or so, I saw a female figure coming out of the water again still naked. I looked carefully and it was Noluthando.

I had to rub my eyes for a while to see if I was dreaming or not. And it was still her looking at my way as if she knew I was hiding between those big trees.

Asiphile, don't be afraid it's me you can come out - said Noluthando.

I gave no response, breathing heavily with fear written all over me.

David come out. I know you there- Noluthando kept on calling me out to come to her but she stood still near the water and never made a single move as though somebody was stuck.

In my heard I wanted to come out and hug her. But something kept on telling me to stand still aswell.

Noluthando was standing naked, close to the water and calling me out-Asiphile come out I miss you.
I was still resisting, hiding by the tree.
Then she said -Asiphile come meet your son.

A son?I can't believe she gave me a son,I said to myself starting to feel the joy inside,then I came out of my hiding place.-Noluthando is that really you? -I asked while slowly walking towards her.

Yes Asiphile it's me I'm alive, only the snake died,-she said.
Then why did i see you come out of the water,are you a snake too?

No silly-she said laughing,Im not a snake, come give me a hug I will explain everything to you later.Dont be afraid Asiphile,im still the same Noluthando you knew and loved.

My body just became calm from just listening to her words, she still had the same effect on me like she did back then.I went to her and gave her a hug.
As we was hugging,I felt as though my body was getting squished.As I looked, Noluthando was transforming back into a large snake, while in my arms and I ended up having my body tied around by the snake.

I was screaming out loud, the pain was just too much. Its head was up looking down on me,I was about to get swallowed.

I told you, you won't get away with this, you fool,you think Noluthando is still alive? I killed that girl and your son a long time ago and so is your mother in law.I knew you would fall for this trap,I had to bring you out here,so I can end your life as well.

Tears was rolling down my eyes, from the pain I was feeling physically and emotionally.
Help, help-I started screaming out for help.

Its mouth opened wide and it was coming for my head.i had my eyes closed.i didn't want to see it happen.
Then out of nowhere I head gun shots.3 times and the snake let go of me as it was hit In the head.
It's started making its weird evil scream.

Nephew run, run for your life-I looked and it was my Uncle.he went and called the cops, whom luckily was able to trace me and surrounded the whole place.
