Living With A Murderer

There was a house in the middle of the woods. The trees would rustle in the wind, as it howled with the wolves standing on the edge of the cliff. Crickets chirped battling with the howling. Lots of trees were cut down so the mansion could be built and so the land could be used by the twins. The twins lived in the house, their father lived there too but he was barely home due to all of the business trips. He was always traveling and so the twins would always have to fend for themselves.

Liz Rose and Jacob Rose complete opposites. They were the difference between night and day. Liz Rose is the purest person you would ever meet, she has a heart of cold. She would always wear white since it's her favorite color. Her brunette curly locks was always propped up into a ponytail and her eyes are a beautiful hazel color. The one thing she always made sure she wore was the locket her mother gave her before she died in the tragedy of a fire. The locket had a moonstone on it carved in the shape of a heart. In the locket was a picture of the whole family together and happy while they visited Cape Cod 2 summers ago. Liz never took the locket off her neck, she never has since the day her mother gave it to her. Her white converse were always her go to, they look a little faded and dirty due to how many years she has worn them. She saw the good in everyone and she was everyone's hero. Liz has lots and lots of friends and was a proper lady. She would always do her makeup, smiling as she looked into the mirror.

If you opened Jacobs closet, it would be filled with nothing but black clothing. Black converse is all he wore and a leather jacket that had spikes that looked so sharp that they could cut you if you touched them. Jacob Rose was the most malicious person you will ever meet, he could easily be referred to as Lucifer. He has done sinful things, things that no one will ever know but him. He was a perfect liar, he could lie so much that it became real to him, he believed his own lies. His raven black hair would always be spiked up in gel. The dark circles under his hazel eyes were always there and quite noticeable. His friends were not nice like Liz's, his friends were the people who you should not associate with. He would always leave home at midnight when everyone was sleeping and would sneak into the night see these "friends". They were the biggest criminals the world has seen and they had Jacob do their dirty work for them. Jacob never has come to terms that he was a selfish and a bad person. He only did the jobs he was asked to do and didn't stop to think for a second what kind of a person he's turned into. Jacob used to be good...but now all her worries about is survival.

Liz and her brother had a pretty close relationship with each other. She told him all of her secrets and in return, he would tell her only a small bit of his secrets. He never wanted to be an open book for anyone and he didn't trust a single person, not even his sister. Liz noticed that Jacob had been a bit quiet that night, but she also remembered that their mothers birthday was in 2 days. She knocked on his door and stood at the doorway concerned. "Are you okay?" Liz asked her brother as she leaned on the doorway looking down sadly before looking up to him in concern. "I'm fine can you go away? Seriously, just leave me the hell alone." He said as he was carving a design into his desk with his pocket knife. She felt hurt by his remark so she was about to walk away before he sighed, "Wait. Sorry. I'm just in a really bad damn mood. I'm fine, thanks for asking." Liz nodded, she knew he wasn't okay but she wanted to leave him some alone time because that was exactly what he needed. "I'm going to go to the store, I'll be right back." She said before turning on her heels and getting her umbrella to go out in the rain. It was storming and the winds were high, the town was only 10 minutes away, but Liza knew she still had to be careful. She took off in her white Mini Cooper and slowly made her way into town. Little did she know that she would come home and something would happen to her that would change her life forever.

An hour later, Liz made her way back home safely. She forced the front door shut as the wind was so strong she struggled to shut it. Opening the fridge, she would start to put the groceries away. The house was so chilly you could see your breath so Liza quickly turned the heat up. Before she turned back to continue putting away the food, a loud scream was heard. The screaming suddenly came to a stop and then fell dead silence. A loud thud made the ceiling shake. Liz froze right in her tracks before she sprinted upstairs to see what was going on. She came to her Jacob's room to see blood all over him and a puddle of it all over the floor. She gasped as she nearly fainted and suddenly felt extremely nauseous. Jacob started to panic and said, "It's not what it looks like!" She stood there trembling her heart beating out of her chest and shouts, "Y-You just killed someone!? Who even is she? This is crazy!" She said shaking her head and pacing back and forth keeping her distance from Jacob. "I'm going to have to call the police, I don't feel safe anymore in this house!" Liz said, her voice shaking and her hands shaking with fear. She would sprint down the stairs but before she could make it to the phone, a large kitchen knife was put right to her throat. Jacobs voice no longer sounded like Jacob anymore, his voice was filled with nothing but a sinister tone. He whispered into her ear, "If you tell anybody, I will kill you next without hesitation. You got that?"
