Down in the Dumps-ter: 'The Walking Dead' Star Regrets Glenn's Dumpster Scene
There is no denying that AMC's #TheWalkingDead sure knows how to go for the jugular with a shock death, a skill that the show has recently excelled at by hitting us where it hurts. For seven seasons we idolized #StevenYeun's portrayal of Glenn Rhee, the plucky delivery boy who became a staple of #RobertKirkman's zombie apocalypse. However, with Glenn having his brains turned to mashed potato in the Season 7 premiere, it seems that he tried to dodge death one too many times.

Is 'Split' Scary? The 10 Most Shocking Moments From M. Night Shyamalan's Horror
I have trouble dealing with one personality, let alone 24, but James McAvoy seems to be winning over critics in M. Night Shyamalan's latest blockbuster. Billed as a psychological thriller akin to the rest of Shyamalan's work, Split has thrown its hat into the ring as one of 2017's best horrors; all that and it only came out in January. In a year of resurrecting Jigsaw, chestbursting xenomorphs, and another round of Child's Play, how does #Split bring home the bacon in the #horror stakes?

Not Fred And Buried Yet: Robert Englund Returns For Elm Street Documentary Trailer
Away from Chucky, chainsaws, and Crystal Lake, one name sticks out in horror for haunting our nightmares since 1984. With the eerie voices of little girls singing nursery rhymes in your ears, horror legend #RobertEnglund is back as Freddy Krueger for one more spin in the makeup chair. No, sadly this isn't another A Nightmare On Elm Street film, but it is about as close as we are ever going to get.

'Underworld: Blood Wars' Sucks The Life Out Of The Franchise With Disastrous Opening Weekend
Uh oh, it looks like bad news for the Underworld universe, as Underworld: Blood Wars has been slain by the competition in cinemas with a frankly frightful opening weekend. We here at Movie Pilot, we already tipped Blood Wars to be something of a marmite affair, even calling the death of #KateBeckinsale's career one of 2016's saddest on-screen deaths. However, it is now official that Blood Wars sucks. Perhaps we should have stuck a stake through the heart of Lycans vs. vamps after the fourth film.

Reinventing The Zombie Genre: 'The Girl With All The Gifts' Is The Best Present You Still Need To Open
While the wave of reanimated corpses still has us as gripped in 2017 as in the Romero days of 1968, Hollywood struggles more and more for a way to keep us infected with our fascination with #zombies. Just as 28 Days Later reinvented the zombie genre with fast-moving munchers, 2016's The Girl with All the Gifts gives another spin on the tale, putting children at the forefront of the outbreak, used as both a weapon and a cure for zombification.
