A Love that Destroys
Where are my friends? A mist all the noise and people in the bar she feels the sensation of someone staring at her. Who did I come with again? As she looked in the direction she felt the sensation coming from, she began to feel strange. Something was off but she couldn't tell what it was. When did I even come to the bar? She spots a strange person in the corner. She almost misses them with all the people moving at a strangely much faster rate than that of her and the strange figure. It was like they were in different worlds. Where am I?

'Tales from the Crypt' Review
*This is a full episode review. A spoiler warning is in effect.* Hello Boils and Ghouls, and welcome to today's tale. Now, I know there are some ladies out there who wouldn't mind having the finer things that life has to offer: having the most fashionable clothing, looking beautiful every day of the week, having some extra pocket money, and having a handsome man on your arm (or whichever gender one would prefer).

People Want to Take Religion Seriously
In the "there-are-no-atheists-in-foxholes" department, I recently rewatched William Friedkin's The Exorcist for perhaps the 12th time. I once again had my judgement confirmed that it is a great movie, one of the greatest, true to its convictions and willing to go where no movie before or since has gone. I mean, a young girl stabbing herself in the groin with a crucifix and yelling "Fuck her, Fuck her" and then pulling her own mother's face between her legs and saying "Lick me." Robert Mapplethorpe would have killed for such extreme performance art.

Best Psychological Thriller Books of 2018
What I love most about well-rounded psychological thrillers, whether it be a movie, TV show, or book, are the growing conflicts that arise alongside the characterization of each individual. It can almost be addicting: the electrifying rush that accompanies the rising buildup, followed by the even more spellbinding conclusion, which usually reveals the most elegant picture of the pieces you have collected throughout you read. That is, if it's truly thrilling and psychological.

Some of the Most Thrillingly Scary Movies to Make a Person Stand at Attention
Have you ever picked a dark, stormy night with lots of thunder jumping outside to watch a scary movie? If you are a person who enjoys watching thrillers and movies that really keep you on your tiptoes, the kind of movies that reel you in so deep that sounds begin coming out of nowhere and the viewer's eyes become so glued to the movie being watched that the rest of the world just fades out, these movies are the ones that after you watch them completely to the end your eyes begin to wander around. The eyes are looking for that compelling figure that is hiding in the dark corners ready to walk through the wall. The heart begins to pound so hard and fast that when it stops, the worry of if it flew out of your chest passes over the mind.

10 Creepy Natural Places on Earth
Sometimes, you get a good scare out of reading stories about the boogyman or skinwalkers, or the rake, or even Bigfoot. While those legends are up for debate as to whether they're true or not, these ten creepy locations are actually real, and you can visit some of them.

The Nightmare
I'm in the top bunk in the cabin getting ready for bed, sneakily eating a doughnut before my aunt comes in to check on me. She never allows us to eat any sweets after eight, even though I was now fifteen and not a small child. My cousin isn't coming until tomorrow from college in Washington so I am the only one sleeping in the room for the night. I always sleep on the bottom bunk for some reason when I come to visit my aunt and cousin but this time I wanted a change of scenery. I finished eating my doughnut and got rid of any possible evidence that I was eating one from my face and the bed. I get under the covers and close my eyes to act like I am falling asleep. I wasn't at all tired but my aunt would wait for me to fall asleep if I wasn't already by nine. She always said it was because she didn't trust my cousin and I to not wake her in the middle of the night if we didn't go to bed before her. I begin to hear footsteps clacking down the hall on the wooden floor, growing closer to the room, like a small heel from a sandal, probably my aunt's slippers.
