It was not real

A Terrifying Tale of Paranormal Activity

By SoniaPublished 3 years ago 2 min read

Mehnaz lay on the ground, trying to catch her breath. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she was trembling with fear. The wind had died down, but she could still feel the chill in the air. She knew she had to get up and keep moving, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. She was too scared.

As she lay there, she heard a faint whisper in her ear. It was the same voice she had heard in her house. She tried to ignore it, but it was too persistent. It kept whispering to her, telling her to come back. She knew she had to resist it, but it was getting harder and harder.

Suddenly, she felt a cold hand on her shoulder. She screamed and scrambled to her feet, but there was no one there. She looked around frantically, but she was alone in the darkness.

Mehnaz started to run, not caring where she was going. She just wanted to get away from that place, away from the voices and the ghosts. She could hear footsteps behind her, but every time she turned around, there was no one there.

She finally reached the outskirts of the city, and the road ahead was illuminated by the distant lights of a small town. She felt relieved, thinking that she was finally safe. But as she got closer, she realized that the town was deserted. All the buildings were empty, and the streets were barren.

Mehnaz heard a loud noise coming from one of the buildings. She was hesitant to investigate, but her curiosity got the better of her. She slowly approached the building, her heart pounding in her chest. As she got closer, she could see a figure standing in the doorway. It was a woman, but she was covered in blood.

Mehnaz froze in terror as the woman started to walk towards her. She could see the woman's face now, and it was twisted in a grotesque expression of rage. She tried to run, but her legs wouldn't move. She was trapped.

The woman was getting closer and closer, and Mehnaz could feel her breath on her face. She closed her eyes, waiting for the inevitable. But then, the woman suddenly disappeared. Mehnaz opened her eyes and found herself back on the deserted street.

She realized that she had been dreaming, but it felt so real. She knew that she had to keep moving, to get as far away from that place as possible. She started to run again, and this time, she didn't look back.

As she ran, she could hear the voices and the whispers behind her. But she ignored them, focusing only on the sound of her own footsteps. She finally reached the safety of her own home, and collapsed on the floor, exhausted and trembling.

Mehnaz knew that she would never forget that night, that the horrors she had witnessed would haunt her for the rest of her life. But she also knew that she was alive, and that was all that mattered.
