Grim Reaper, Is That You?

“That should teach her a lesson!” Paolo grinned as he admired the threat he had sent.

“Teach who a lesson?”

Paolo screamed like a little girl as he fell off his chair. He looked up and there It was, looming over him, waiting for an answer.

He stared Its skeletal face under that black hood and the scythe Its bony fingers were wrapped around.

“Oh no, is it my time to go?”

“Not sure what you are talking about but I want to know who did you teach a lesson to. You were looking pretty smug”, It answered.

Paolo eyed It cautiously as he returned to his seat, “Just some rando on the internet. Bitch had it coming.”

“So you decided to harass her with a death and rape threat? What did she do to you?”

“She laughed at a Facebook post.”

“Was it your post?”

“Well no, but—”

“Then it is not your place to ‘teach her a lesson.’”

“No, you don’t get it. The post was about Lorena Bobbitt. She cut off her husband’s dick while he was sleeping, drove off with it and threw it into a field!”

“I am fully aware of this case. She was abused physically, emotionally, and sexually by her husband. She finally snapped one day and did what she did. I am not condoning it, but to use your words, he had it coming.

“He directly did those things to her, so she directly did that to him. On the other hand, you got triggered by a random girl laughing at a post that was not even yours to begin with. She laughed because karma got him. That is acceptable.”

“So what, I should’ve just ignored it?” Paolo scoffed.

“Yes, that is what any sane person would have done. Look at you, picking fights with strangers on the internet, and then blocking them before they could respond. A coward and a sore loser. Pathetic!”

Paolo shrugged, “I guess it doesn’t matter now since you’re here for me.”

“Again, I am not sure what you are talking about.”

Its bony fingers clamped over Paolo’s lips and with one swift motion, sliced them off with Its scythe.

Paolo screamed and clutched his mouth as blood gushed through his fingers.

“What kinda Grim Reaper are you? I thought you only collect souls!” he wailed.

It held Paolo’s severed lips between two fingers and playfully squished them together.

“Grim Reaper? Ha! I am the Grin Ripper. When I see anyone grin for the wrong reasons, I rip it out!”

Author’s Notes:

Screenshot of the message I received on Messenger

A few weeks ago, this guy sent me a message on Messenger. At first I was taken aback, but it wasn’t long before I started laughing. He got so triggered that he sent me a message and then blocked me. I had no idea who he was or what was he even talking about.

I decided to share it on Facebook so my friends could get a laugh. That was when Mother Combs and James Young shed some light on the matter for me. They said that he was talking about Lorena Bobbitt. I vaguely remembered that case from a few years back but I didn’t see any posts about it recently. So this guy saw that I ‘Haha’ reacted on an old post about an old case and got so triggered. I’m speechless!

Mother Combs then suggested I write him into a story and here we are. I wanted to use his actual name in the story but I didn't want to do that to Paul Stewart aka King Paul Poe Shakespeare. So I went with Paolo.

Didn't see that plot twist coming. Also, someone actually sent that to you? How infantile.

  • Oh wow. I didn't see the end coming the way it did. Loved it!

Oh my word. Love the way you've dealt with this!

I can see why Paul/Paolo would care so much about dicks considering he is one! Not him taking time out of his day to write something like that to someone so kind. He didn't know who he was dealing with - you could write the heck out of him and you did! 10/10 story as always!

I think I had nearly the same expression as that man on the thumbnail, when I read the subtitle. She cut off what now 😮 'Grin ripper' a clever twist. Paolo really did have it coming looool. The grin ripper is a legend for doing what he did to Paolo. Wow. I just read the backstory. He sent that to you?! He sounds both dangerous to society and deeply hurt by your haha. Poor thing, what the hell is this world coming to... Good choice for writing him into a story, it was thoroughly entertaining. 👌🏾🤗❤️
