Experimented Girl

Chapter 1

My story begins when I first got adopted out to a couple that was known scientists in the community, but no one would go to think that they would experiment on their adopted daughter just so they could find a way of her getting whatever powers they were able to give her. Very few creatures are known in the world I live in, there are werewolves, vampire and shapeshifters. Living in a household of 12 kids including me who got the worst part of the house as a room to stay in and getting experimented on. (Yes, only I am getting experimented on as far as I know of) Trying to keep whatever mental state I have is important. I lay back on my bed and sigh. “Maybe today will be better,” Who was I kidding. Being 17 and no one really talking to you at all sucks.

Having to be homeschooled and locked in a room basically sucks. The only time I guess you could say we are all normal family would be when we all go to the beach and or when we all eat. A knock landed on my door. “Who is it?” I asked as I sat up in my bed.

Lee and Susan Shaw entered my room, or mother and father so would say. “How are you feeling today?” Susan walked over to my side of the table and started to check my temperature and color of my eyes. “Any new signs of powers?”

I sighed and rolled my eyes. “Still the same ones, shapeshifting, barriers, my speed, vanishing and building anything.” I didn’t want to tell them about the new ones because anytime I have it would lead to more experiments, to which I can’t die anyways.

“Are you sure that that’s the truth?” she asked with a questionable look on her face. “Because you do know the more powers you have the better off that we can later use you as a breeding ground for more offspring for us and make us a lot powerful.” She smirked as Lee her husband walked over to my side and grabbed my face from her hands.

“Yes, perfect body. Wonderful legs, I can’t wait to be your first an make you see what I real man can be like,” He trailed his hand from my face down to my shoulders and was about to move over my chest, but I shrugged away from his hand. “Oh, little parrot do you need your manners adjected from moving away from my hands again?” He smiles grew colder darker as he reaches around his side and had cuffs and put them on my wrist. I could feel my power draining from me making me feel like a normal human. “Now little parrot I’ll make you submit to me, even by force if I have to. The more you resist me the more I touch without permission.” He moved the cuffs and latched them to the bed making my lay back on the bed. “Now your feet, you kick me I wont stop.” He threatened to me as he latched my feet to the bottom rails as well. He laughed as he took the knife and started to cut my cloths up.

“Stop… please,” I begged as a tear escaped my eyes. He laughed and he continued to cut. “My parrot you brought this onto yourself, because you moved away from me. YOU teased me so now it’s only right that I get to feel what I couldn’t touch right?”

Susan smirked, “Serves you right girl, should have not moved in the first place. Plus, its either he does it or I can always get my assistant to touch you instead. He is a lot bigger and isn’t so gentle.” She laughed as I flinched to his touch and tried my best to move away. “OH, REALLY now??” His cold smile got brighter and more devilish, but Susan cleared her throat to get his attention. “Dear before you get to carried away, we do have to leave now. We have to leave a couple of weeks for our trip.” She whipped her hands and washed them. He growled in frustration but withdrew his hands from my shirt and pants. “Just you wait my parrot, we will have Susan’s assistant her to feed you and make sure you don’t flee. He has speed and super hearing even pass your barrier and your other talents. So, don’t get any ideas.” He smirked at me as he undid my legs first and grabbed me. “And this my dear little parriot.IS ALL MINE, I get first. You are not biologically mine and man you have grown so wonderfully I just can’t help myself.” He was getting grabby again and Susan got my hands undone and grabbed his and began to drag him along, “Come dear let me help fix yourself.” She smirked as she grabbed his junk Infront of me through his pants. “Maybe when we get back hunny I’ll let you go all out as long as I get to join in also.” She kissed him and pulled him from the room and out the door. Before closing the door, she picked her head back in. “Now clean yourself. My assistant will be here around 6:45pm to check on you for any changes.” She slammed the door and I curled into a ball.

Why me? Why did I have to be adopted into this horrible family? To everyone else they are normal people who do normal things with science, but no behind closed doors they are not. I whipped my face and got up and went into my bathroom. I didn’t care to even check what time it was. I took off my torn cloths and started the water. I sat in the water, curled into a ball. My red hair clung to my skin as the water just rolled down my back and sides. A knocked hit my door. “Jade? Jade, where are you?” A man’s voice called out to me. I ignored the voice and stayed in the bathroom.

The door opened and a muscular man, not over the top crazy strong. Black hair and pretty blue eyes. My silver eyes were nothing compared to his baby blue eyes entered into my room then the bathroom. “There you are, I am Jason Smith, Susan left me strict instruction to make sure you eat and are well took in care of, and by the looks of your torn cloths and how you are curled into a ball it wasn’t pleasant.” He sighed as he grabbed me a towel and came over to the tub. “Now look I am not going to do whatever she said I am going to do to you. I am not that person. I’ve read up on your file yes, but I won’t hurt you ever.” He closed his eyes as he held the towel up for me.

“How do I know for sure you are not like them?” I couldn’t help but be defensive and have my guard up.

“Only time and trusting my words, but to protect you there will be times I will have to put on a show in front of them. But I will never force myself on you ever.” He smiled behind the towel but still kept his eyes closed. “But I will say this, he ever forces himself on you OR in you I will kill him.” And with the towel wrapped around my body he meets my eyes. “I can smell that he hasn’t, sorry if that is strange. But I will NEVER ever let him lay his hands on you again as long as I am around and when you turn 18. We will run from here. Far away. An” I stopped him by poking his shoulder.

“That all sounds like a fairytale that doesn’t come true for someone like me. I am an experiment who doesn’t get to be normal or human, expectedly someone you have never meet before or even...”

He cut me off this time. “Jade I have been around you, your whole life. From day one when I held you in my arms as a baby. No, I am not your dad or related to you in anyway, but when I first meet your eyes, I just couldn’t stop not being around you. Until Susan brought you here instead of the lab room.” He ran a frustrated hand through his hair and sighed. “I will make sure as long as I am around you that you are well feed and took in care of, but I can’t let them catch onto me or they will do whatever they can to get me away from you again.” He led me back to my room and I sat on my bed. He saw the cuffs and yanked one off breaking one of the cuffs in two. “Those are supposed to sub press your powers, right?”
