Welcome to Camp Death Lake, the summer camp (and only camp) proud to call this lake its home. There is a reason so many hate this lake, and its a good one too. Whenever a kid goes missing in town, you can almost always find their lifeless bodies half preserved at the bottom of this lake. Some say that there is a killer on the loose, and some say its just something in the lakes water, but either way I just so happen to know these deaths are no mistake. Anyway, my name is Chris, and today I will be sharing my horrific experience with this demonic body of water.

I first heard about it a couple years back, a camp called ‘Camp Death Lake” getting shutdown and investigated upon due to the fact that within a week of opening, all 137 campers had vanished. Back then I was merely a sheriffs deputy, off to go investigate what I expected to be another bull crap halloween prank call. When I arrived to the scene I felt shiver down my spine, and immediately knew something wasn't right. In the sun, the lakes water looked pitch black, so no one was able to see all the missing children at the bottom, and in the moonlight the water turned blood red, and would even sometimes make noises ones stomach makes when you get hungry. I remember thinking of that lake as a living thing on this world, and that those bodys are its food. After searching the entire campsite, including the dock and woods, I found no one, not even a trace of a single human being there for weeks showed up but I knew this was false because we got the call earlier that day.

I went back to the lake and started walking in circles, until I found any sort of a clue. After walking around the entire lake several times, I saw what appeared to look like a human arm. I knelt down and sure enough I was right, I called for backup and told the sheriff to bring enough ammo to hold an entire army back. When he got to the lake he was pretty pissed that I was okay and that nothing violent had broken out, and asked why the hell he had to bring all the ammo and backup that we had. At the corner of my eye I saw movement, like a body walking right outta the murky water right over to us. As it got closer I said freeze, but it kept on moving ignoring my every word. I shined my life and my jaw dropped. This, thing, was neither dead nor alive, I panicked and unloaded an entire clip into its head and chest cavity. I wiped my forehead and asked the sheriff “What the fuck was that?!”, “I’m not sure…” he said, “But we’ve got company!!!”, I turn around and sure enough there appeared all the missing campers, with a raging hunger in their eyes. We all panicked, and started unloaded as many bullets as fast as we could into the horde of undead campers, unfortunately we were outnumbered and doomed from the start. Once all the other cops got killed, I grabbed the sheriff and we started running. We got cornered by the monsters in the woods, and as I collapsed onto the ground giving up all hope, the last words to leave my mouth as I watched my former boss be eaten alive were “Burn in fucking hell you ugly cannabilisic bastards!” I had a grenade in my pocket, saving it for the last blow, but I was finished…. Done…. I pulled the pin and clenched it with my fist, as it exploded my body parts rained onto the monsters, and they all just started to laugh and dance as if it was another win for the books. After my last drop of blood hit the ground, they all started to walk back towards the lake, a place that they call home.
