Some sounds are profoundly unsettling, leaving an indelible mark on our memories. In this video, we will delve into five chilling sounds that resonate deeply, from a heart-wrenching plea for help from a missing child to the eerie final call of a now-extinct bird. Today, you will encounter five terrifying sounds that will linger in your mind indefinitely.
One of the most tragic 911 calls recorded involved Antonette Kedo, born on December 25, 1976, in Gallup, New Mexico. Raised by her mother, Penny, alongside her two younger sisters, Wendy and Sita, Antonette was known for her maturity and academic dedication. By the age of six, she was already cooking and caring for her siblings, earning admiration for her empathy. Fond of the color purple and the music of Michael Jackson and Ronnie Milsap, she was affectionately nicknamed "Squirrel." An above-average student and talented athlete at Lincoln Elementary School, she was also committed to her faith, regularly attending Bible studies. On April 5, 1986, after Penny went out with friends, she returned home around midnight, leaving Antonette and her mother to play cards—an unusual activity for them. At approximately 3:30 a.m., a man named Roger knocked on the door, seeking Penny, but received no response and left. The following morning, as Penny prepared her younger daughters for Bible class, she noticed Antonette was missing. After searching the house and inquiring with neighbors, Penny contacted the police, who shockingly took four days to initiate an official search of the home and nearby areas. Penny informed detectives that a man named Amelo Gardela, known as Emo, had given Antonette flowers and gifts on three occasions in the days leading up to her disappearance.
