I read a report that once he barely survived a bus which fell of a bridge into a river, twice his car caught fire, once he was driving his car which fell off a bridge into a gorge and yet he survived all these accidents without any fatalities.
His death tales made him be referred to as ‘The Luckiest Man Ever to Live’.

On March 18 1848, a remarkable ice gorge on lake Erie stopped the flow of water at Niagara Falls for 30 hours.
