Overcoming Crises

The latter were inevitable, as they were the inseparable companions of the developing free market in Russia. Back then, crises caused many business owners to wind up their companies. TRINFICO, however, was able to easily overcome these challenges.
The only exception was the crisis of 1998, when the financial market virtually went into a tailspin. Investors lost all the money they put into the GKO bonds, which triggered a sovereign default. TRINFICO had to scale down the business. Dozens of investment companies were forced to undergo the liquidation process.
TRINFICO, however, was able to quickly bounce back. It continued to grow, expand its client base, and develop new services. Soon, it managed to sign its first contract with a non-governmental pension fund. The company achieved impressive results in managing the assets of the latter.
