The Palestinian land is the cradle of the oldest civilization in the world. This is the first land where people began farming and living a normal life around 9,000 BC. After the next 1,000 years, around 8,000 BC, the city of Ariha was built. Since the fall of Ariha, various nations, communities, and numerous prophets have settled in this holy land over the centuries.

The Canaanite community in Palestine

The Canaanite community is the oldest of the communities that have lived in Palestine. Their relics still exist in Palestine today. The Canaanite community arrived in this region from the Arabian Peninsula approximately 4,500 years ago. For this reason, Palestine is called 'Arde Kena'an' in ancient history.

The Jebusite community in Palestine

Among the tribes that migrated from the northern tip of the Arabian Peninsula was the 'Jebusite' community. This community started living here before the city of Al-Quds was established. For this reason, the city of ‘Al-Quds’ was also called ‘Yabus’ in reference to their name.

Abraham (AS) in Palestine

The arrival of Hazrat Abraham (AS) is very important for Palestine. Through him, the lamp of Tawheed was rekindled in Palestine. Why not, when everything was destroyed in the flood during the time of Noah (AS), he was the first to start preaching the message of Tawheed. He and his wife Sarah (AS) came to Palestine from Iraq in the 19th century BC and built a house of worship in Jerusalem, which later came to be known as ‘Baitul Maqdis’. And Hazrat Abraham’s (AS) son Isaac (AS) and his descendants served this holy land.

Bani Israel in Palestine

The name of Hazrat Ishaq (AS)'s son was Yaqub (AS). He was born in Palestine. However, he later migrated to Turkey. After a few years, he came to Palestine again. Another name of Yaqub (AS) is Israel (AS). His descendants are called Bani Israel. At that time, Palestine was ruled by the Hexes. At one time, when Emperor Ahmose attacked Palestine, the Hexes were defeated. And Emperor Ahmose considered Bani Israel to be allies of the Hexes. Therefore, severe oppression came upon them. This oppression continued for about three hundred years. And the character of Bani Israel came to a great collapse. At one point, they indulged in idolatry. They were not the character we know them in today. They were basically a group of people with good character.

Moses (AS) in Palestine

For hundreds of years, oppressive kings oppressed the Children of Israel in various ways. Finally, they got fed up and crossed the Red Sea and came to the Sinai Valley of Egypt. And there were Hazrat Moses and Aaron (AS). The Israelites caused Moses and Aaron (AS) all kinds of trouble. On the orders of Allah, Hazrat Moses (AS) left for Baytul Maqdis with the Children of Israel around 1250 BC. However, since the oppressive Canaanites lived there, the Children of Israel refused to enter the city. Disobeying Allah's orders, they wandered like mad in the desert. Hazrat Moses (AS) died while in the desert.

Joshua (AS) in Palestine

After the death of Hazrat Musa (AS), the leadership of the Children of Israel fell on Hazrat Joshua (AS). He entered Palestine with the Children of Israel in the 1200th century BC. Then a bloody war broke out with the Canaanites. In that war, the Children of Israel were victorious and Joshua (AS) started living there with them. During his lifetime, the Children of Israel created a lot of chaos. At one point, Hazrat Joshua (AS) died. And idolatry spread among them. Their disobedience reached its peak. They lost the staff of Musa (AS).

David (AS) in Palestine: At the end of the 11th century BC, Shaul ibn Qays (Talut) took over the leadership of the Children of Israel. Then there was a terrible war with the Palestinians. Their commander was Goliath. At one stage of the war, Hazrat Dawud (AS) killed Goliath. After the death of Talut, Dawud (AS) led the Children of Israel and established the largest Jewish state in Palestine. This was the first time that faith and the people of faith ruled.

Solomon (AS) in Palestine

Hazrat Dawud (AS) ruled Palestine for 40 years. After his death, Hazrat Solomon (AS) took over the leadership of the Children of Israel. He ruled with great authority. The Israelites bowed down under his influence. He renovated Baytul Maqdis with the help of the jinn. After the death of Solomon (AS), the 12 tribes of the Children of Israel were divided. One led 10 tribes and the other led 2 tribes. 10 tribes built an empire in the north of Palestine and 2 tribes in the south of Palestine. Both tribes were in chaos and stubbornness. The Egyptian emperor Shishank attacked and occupied the northern region in 920 BC. And in 721, the Assyrians (Assyrians) attacked and occupied the southern region. And the 200-year-old Israelite empire was destroyed.

Bukhat Nasr's attack on Palestine

The attack of Shishank and the Assyrians broke the back of the Jewish community. However, the Jewish community of Yahuza ruled Jerusalem for another 150 years with a broken back. In 586 BC, the Iraqi commander Bukhat Nasr again attacked them. He destroyed the Al-Aqsa Mosque. About 40 thousand Jews were taken prisoner. And the Jewish empire came to an end forever. The Jewish rule in Palestine was a total of 418 years. Of which, Solomon (peace be upon him) ruled with justice and integrity for 80 years. And the remaining 338 years were plagued by strife, corruption and oppression. And the Jews are making this rule the basis for claiming that they are the ones who have the most right to Palestine.

Babylonian and Persian rule in Palestine

The fall of the Jewish Empire led to the establishment of Babylonian rule. This rule lasted from 5586 BC to 539 BC. The Persians invaded Palestine in 539 BC with the cooperation of the Jews. The Persians drove the Babylonians out of the city of Babel and took over the whole of Palestine. Their rule lasted for about 207 years.

Roman rule in Palestine

The Roman general Alexander defeated the Persians in 332 BC. The Jews, not getting good benefits from the Persians, cooperated with the Romans in the war. Some Jews even converted to the Roman religion. After the Romans conquered Palestine, it was the first place that the Romans brought it under the rule of Rome. It remained under the rule of the Byzantines for the next seven centuries.

Jesus (PBUH) in Palestine: Jesus (PBUH) was born during the Roman rule in Palestine. The Palestinians accused Jesus (PBUH) of blasphemy in 37 AD. Based on this accusation, the Roman emperor crucified him. According to Jewish ideology, his life was lost at their hands. However, this is not the reality. Rather, Allah miraculously took him to the heavens.

Jewish Revolt and Roman Rule

About 100 years after the death of Prophet Jesus (PBUH), the Jewish rebellion began again. This rebellion against the Romans began in 135 AD under the leadership of Barbukha. However, the Jews began to flee the country due to the attack of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. And Hadrian's army occupied the entire Jewish region of Al-Quds. He launched a streamer of destruction. After this incident, the Jews never attempted another rebellion. From then on, Al-Quds remained under Roman rule until 637 AD.
