Beginning of a new era

Agnishikha: A fearless warrior
The kingdom of Dharapuri, located in the dense forests and high mountains of the far south, was famous for its prosperity and cultural splendor. But, its wealth was under the evil eye of external invaders. The kingdom had been invaded for years, and every time King Veer Pratap Singh fought bravely with his soldiers.
But this time the danger was even bigger. The combined army of the cruel commander Rudrasen of Kailashgarh and King Vikram Singh of Vishalpur attacked the Dharapuri kingdom. The kingdom was attacked from two sides. Both the enemy armies were much more in number than the army of Dhara Puri. King Pratap was a brave warrior adept in the art of war. For the protection and self-respect of his kingdom, King Pratap instructed a contingent of the army under the leadership of his capable and loyal commander Viramdev Singh to take charge of the front on the western border of the kingdom and himself came to the front and stood firm. A fierce battle had begun with the enemy army. There was killing all around. No one was able to stand before the sword of King Pratap. But the enemy army was so large in numbers that if one soldier was killed, four soldiers would immediately appear in front. King Pratap was now feeling tired while fighting. This was the time when he missed a bit and got many wounds on his body at once. Pratap was now badly injured in the war and the army was getting disheartened. When everyone started feeling that the end of Dharapuri was near, then an unexpected power emerged- Princess Agnishikha.
Agnishikha was the only child of King Pratap. Since childhood, she had a special interest in swordsmanship, archery and horse riding. Her mother, Maharani Vasudha, wanted her to become a skilled queen, but King Pratap, understanding her wish, got her trained by the best warriors. He had raised his daughter like a son. And today in the hour of crisis, Agnishikha had come forward as a fierce flame.
People in the palace called her 'lioness' because her eyes reflected a wonderful brilliance and confidence. When other princesses were dressed up in palaces, Agnishikha used to ride horses in the forests, practice sword fighting and master the art of war. She had become a skilled warrior.
When Rudrasen's army reached the gates of the capital and started wreaking havoc, Agnishikha picked up her father's broken sword and called a meeting in the throne room. The courtiers and generals were surprised when they saw the princess in full military uniform.
"Dharapuri is not a weak woman! As long as I am alive, no enemy can destroy our kingdom." Her roar filled everyone with new energy. Our numbers may be less but our courage is a hundred times more than the enemy army. All of you join me and attack the enemy to protect the motherland. They will have to pay the price for showing an eye to our motherland.
Agnishikha prepared a war strategy and took command to lead the army.
Agnishikha appeared on the battlefield like a goddess. Her father's sword was shining in her hand, and her mare Vajralekha was running through the enemy army like lightning. She single-handedly killed dozens of enemy soldiers.
When Rudrasen saw that a woman was defeating his army, he became angry and himself came to the battlefield.
"Princess, you are just a woman. War is not your cup of tea," he mocked.
Agnishikha replied, swinging her sword, "Being a woman is my strength, not my weakness. History will write a new story today!"
A fierce duel began between the two. Swords clashed, dust flew all around. Rudrasen's strength was immense, but Agnishikha's agility and intelligence began to defeat him. Finally, with a precise blow, she killed Rudrasen.
With the end of Rudrasen, there was a stir on the western border of the kingdom as well. The remaining enemy forces thought it best to flee. Agnishikha's army chased them for a long distance. Many soldiers were killed.
Agnishikha's victory led to celebrations in Dharapuri. King Pratap Singh proudly embraced his daughter and declared, "From today, Agnishikha is the protector of Dharapuri. This kingdom will no longer be run by the power of the sword, but by wisdom and courage."
Agnishikha became not just a warrior, but an ideal ruler. She brought a new wave of justice, education and prosperity in the kingdom. Her story remained an inspiration for ages—of a fearless warrior who created history with her strength and self-confidence.
