True Love Story

A Love Tested by Betrayal

The Beginning of Love

In a quiet, picturesque village nestled between green hills and flowing rivers, lived Dayud Chisim. He was a kind-hearted and hardworking young man, known for his honesty and deep sense of love. Among the many people in the village, there was one who had captured his heart—Shimu Hagidok.

Shimu was a beautiful, free-spirited woman with a bright smile that could light up even the gloomiest day. Dayud loved her with all his heart, and she, too, seemed to return his affections. They would often spend time together, walking by the river, sharing dreams of a future filled with happiness and togetherness.

Everyone in the village believed they were meant to be. Dayud dreamed of marrying Shimu, building a life together, and growing old side by side. But fate had other plans.

The Shadow of Betrayal

Enter Jhumu Daring, a man with a smooth voice and a confident charm. He had always admired Shimu from afar, but when he saw the love between her and Dayud, jealousy took root in his heart. Jhumu was not one to let go of something he desired.

He started spending more time around Shimu, flattering her, telling her things that made her heart race. He whispered words of adventure and excitement, things Dayud had never said. At first, Shimu resisted—she loved Dayud, didn’t she? But slowly, doubt crept in. Jhumu was different; he was bold, daring, and unpredictable.

And so, a secret affair began.

At first, it was just stolen glances, lingering touches, and whispered words. But soon, Shimu and Jhumu couldn’t hide it anymore. The truth always finds its way to the surface.

One evening, as the sun dipped below the hills, painting the sky in hues of orange and red, Dayud saw what he never thought he would see—Shimu in Jhumu’s arms. The woman he had loved, the woman he had trusted with his whole heart, had betrayed him.

Heartbreak and a Love That Was Always There

Dayud was shattered. He could not understand how the love he had cherished so deeply could be tossed aside so easily. He withdrew from everyone, his heart heavy with sorrow.

But amidst the darkness, there was one person who refused to leave his side—Rumana Mrong.

Rumna had always been there, a quiet presence, a gentle soul. She had watched from afar as Dayud loved Shimu, never once hoping for his love in return. But now, seeing his pain, she couldn’t stand by and do nothing.

She brought him food when he refused to eat. She listened when he needed to speak, and when he didn’t, she simply sat beside him in silence, letting him know he wasn’t alone.

Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. Slowly, Dayud began to heal. He started noticing the warmth in Rumna’s eyes, the kindness in her words, and the way she never expected anything from him. Unlike Shimu, who had chosen excitement over love, Rumana’s love was steady, unwavering, and true.

A New Beginning

While Shimu and Jhumu’s passion burned bright, it didn’t last. Jhumu, once he had what he wanted, quickly grew tired. Shimu realized too late that she had thrown away something real for something fleeting.

Dayud, however, had moved on.

One day, under the shade of a large tree by the river, Dayud took Rumna’s hands in his. "I was blind before," he said, his voice full of emotion. "I chased after a love that was never meant for me. But you... you were always there. You never left, even when I had nothing to offer. You are the one my heart was searching for all along."

Rumna smiled, tears glistening in her eyes. She had loved him all this time, and now, finally, he saw her the way she had always seen him.

And so, Dayud and Rumana’s love story truly began—not one built on fleeting passion, but on trust, loyalty, and a love that had been waiting all along.

As for Shimu and Jhumu? Their story became a lesson—a reminder that love built on lies and selfishness can never last.

But true love, the kind that stands through storms and heartbreak, will always find its way.
