If you want to make your own website, but don’t know where to start, the following steps will have you well on your way in under an hour. Even if you have no prior experience with coding or design, these steps are simple and easy enough to make it possible for anyone to set up their own page online. So what are you waiting for? Design your blog

In order to design your blog, it's important to first establish the purpose of your blog. Do you want to share your thoughts on beauty? Are you going to write about parenting? This will be the foundation for everything else that follows. Next, set up your content: You'll need to decide what you're going to include and how often. Make sure there is enough room for photos and videos as well! Once you have established your blog's goal, come up with the title. The title should give readers a general idea of what they might find if they keep reading or clicking through links. Include contact information so people know how to get in touch with you if they have questions or feedback. Add social media icons so people can follow you on Twitter or Facebook right from your homepage.

Write your blog

The first thing you'll need to do is sign up for Google Sites. You can find this site by typing google sites into your browser, and then clicking the sign up now button on the page that pops up. Once you've created your account, click on My Site. On this page, click Create Site. Next, type in the name of your site. It's important to use something simple and catchy, as this is what people will remember. I suggest using your blog title or simply My Website. After choosing a site title, hit create.

Pick Your Domain Name

The first step is to pick your domain name. Your domain name should be short and memorable, and it should not have any spaces or symbols. If you do not have a domain name, type in your desired one on the next page and click next. You will now see a page with information about your new site.

Get Hosting

To start your own site, you will need to purchase a web hosting service. There are many web hosts that you can choose from, but for the purpose of this example we are going to use Bluehost. Once you sign up for Bluehost and create your account, they will give you access to their control panel. In the control panel, click add new site and fill out all of the information.

Log In To WordPress

It's not hard to create your own website, even if you don't have any coding skills. In fact, you could probably do it within the hour! Choose A Theme

Finding a theme is the first step to building your site. You can either choose to use one of WordPress's many free themes or you'll have to find and install one yourself.
