Trent makes his bones on ‘GENERAL HOSPITAL ‘

Randall J. Bacon is currently portraying Carly's latest go-to man, Trent on the ABC soap GENERAL HOSPITAL. The actor and producer is also known for SCREAM QUEENS, Marvel's AGENT of S.H.I.E.L.D, and ONE MILLION DOLLARS. He is no stranger to daytime drama having had roles on ALL MY CHILDREN (2 episodes as a cop), and THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS.(7 episodes as Officer Brooks).

Trent is making his bones by following in the footsteps of a number of men who came before him. Once upon a time in Port Charles, the Giambetti brothers Max and Milo reigned. They were the trusted friends and bodyguards of Sonny Corinthos and beloved by his family. Later, Shawn Butler became the associate of the mob boss and his wife, and now is doing time for a crime he did not commit. Brick slipped in as the next go-to man who would do favors for the Corinthos organization. He forged documents to indicate that Brando was Dev Corbin's father, and shot the man Cyrus sent to take Jason out in the GH parling garage.

Brick assisted Britt and Jason in their escape and even helped with the surgery after Jason was shot, It is being assumed that he blew up one of Cyrus Renault's shipments and he disappeared when Carly told him to leave town and now Trent is stepping up. His successor of sorts, Trent, came on the scene on November 25, 2020. His name had been mentioned a few times in the past but on this day Sonny had him to drive Joss and Trina to GH to visit Cameron Webber after he was injured in the explosion at The Floating Rib.

Trent stood guard outside Cameron's hospital room and just when Joss was about to tell Cam how she felt about him, Trent interrupts Josslyn by saying that he needs to take Ms. Jax home. On December 16, Carly told Josslyn to text Trent to have him drive her home from the Metro Court. Trent later returns the texts to let Joss know he is waiting downstairs in the lobby. On March 17, 2021, while Carly and Jason are in Sonny's kitchen Trent lets them know that Commissioner Ashford is there and Carly said to let her in.

On May 11, Sam tells Carly that she has a police tail on her but Carly explains that she has Trent following Sam because of the danger from Cyrus Renault. On May 25, Trent informs Carly that Frank, the bodyguard who was watching Gladys, was hit on the head when Brando's mom was abducted from her room at the Metro Court. As Trent is searching for where Gladys might have been taken, Carly says she wants him to call her every 20 minutes.

Spinelli uses his computer skills to locate Mrs. Corbin and Carly told Trent to prepare the team. On May 26, Trent and his associates entered the warehouse just in the nick of time to save Gladys and Brando from being killed. Gunfire was exchanged and somehow Gladys was shot and now is in GENERAL HOSPITAL. As of this writing, Cyrus has Spinelli and wants Carly to make an exchange.

GENERAL HOSPITAL viewers are loving how Carly is stepping into her new role as the mob queen and commanding respect from those who are used to working with Sonny and Jason. Some fans believe that when her husband returns she will be drunk with power and not turn over the reins. Will the dashing Trent save the day again or will the new mob boss be forced to give in to Renault? Will Randall J Bacon be sticking around Port Charles for a while or is ts presence temporary?
