Threads, a new social media

So today I heard of a new app called Threads, an extension of meta, Mark Zuckerberg's massive platform, in addition to FaceBook, meta also owns Instagram, WhatsApp, and now Threads, I signed up and heres an honest review. I find it to be similar to twitter, but it feels cleaner, warmer, and all around pleasant, this of course is a first impression which is a great first impression. Threads is a new social media platform with all your favorites so far, and some I haven't seen yet, but doesn't mean they aren't there, I haven't noticed a character limit for how much you can type, or post which is awesome for those of us who have a lot to say, I myself love to talk and thats great for people like me, or if you enjoy scrolling and reading peoples posts Threads is amazing for that as well.

How did I hear about threads? great question! I was scrolling on TikTok this morning, and I saw a video speaking about Threads and figured I would download this app to see what it's all about, and I'm not disappointed at all. Would I suggest this app to friends? Yes I definitely would, I'm sure my friends and family members who have twitter would enjoy it. How do I personally plan to use Threads for myself ? Well, I plan to share the Gospel, speak on veganism, and of course promote my articles I write on here.

Threads seems to me to be laidback and welcoming to everyone from all groups, similar to Facebook. do I think you should try Threads? yes! I have seen one downside to this app and that being, is you do decide to delete your account on Threads, since you've got to sign up through your Instagram, you will also end up deleting your Instagram if you ever do delete your Threads account, which for me is a huge downside, because in the future if I do decide the app is no longer for me, I would have to still keep it and just remove it from my phone.

Threads otherwise seems like a cool place to be, and people seem to be receiving it well, which is always good, as far as the future I see the app having, I think it's could eventually overtake Twitter, and become the next big thing, but thats just one girls opinion, Threads seems a lot better so far, and I definitely enjoy being on this app, and I see a lot of people speaking more freely as opposed to somewhat censored and having limited text options, which is a win for me.

I want to hear from you, would you like using Threads? would it be a too big of a risk to potentially lose your instagram if you end up deleting Threads? If you are on Threads already would you say its better or worse than Twitter? Do you like having so much social media on your phone or are you trying to limit everything?

I believe that like every social media platform, there are always going to be ups and downs, but so far I'm seeing more positive than negative, if you are already using Threads have you noticed the same? What do you like or dislike so far?

In summary Threads seems great, and I've noticed only one downside, and I would definitely recommend this to friends and family members if they were interested in trying out a new social media platform.
