Jack will receive a mysterious phone call

Spoilers for The Young and the Restless tease that while Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) is hesitating on revealing her mother's secret someone else might come forth with the information. By the end of this week or early next week Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will receive a mysterious phone call and two possibilities are being suggested. EMT Carson ( Walter Belenky) or Phyllis Summers ( Michelle Stafford).

Phyllis could call Jack as part of her plot to prove she was manipulated by Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Earlier spoilers had said Phyllis would call Michael Baldwin and say "He's got me" but that did not happen. Instead, Michael received a voicemail from his best friend declaring that she was frightened to death of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Perhaps while she has been out of sight in Genoa City she has found a way to exonerate herself but in the meantime, she is destroying Summer Abbott''s (Allison Lanier) life.

Phyllis is causing Summer great anguish

On Monday even though she knows her mother is alive and helped Stark frame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) for murder Summer continued to blame Diane for all that has gone wrong. Summer is bitter that Kyle's mom is back in the Abbott home while her own mother is in hiding. Fans of The Young and the Restless are saying they are getting tired of Summer's constant complaining especially since she is now an accomplice after the fact to a murder.

Phyllis has placed her daughter in this impossible situation with no thought of anything except saving her own skin. Summer and Kyle are growing further apart and the relationship between Daniel Romalati (Michael Grazeadei) and his sibling is becoming strained and it's all because of their selfish mother.

EMT Carson could blow everything out of the water

Spoilers are also projecting that there is another person who might give Jack a call and that is EMT Carson ( Walter Belenky) who portrayed the EMT who falsified the tale about the ambulance crash, and the fire and revealed that Phyllis didn't make it. Carson accepted his last payment from Stark and promised to keep his mouth shut but now something has changed. Perhaps he has gone on a spending spree and spent what Jeremy gave him. He cannot extort money from a dead man and he has no idea where Phyllis is so he might try to blackmail Jack to pay him in exchange for information.

This is all speculation but fans of The Young and the Restless had already been saying that the EMT would probably return at some time in the future. If Carson is the one to call Jack this will make life difficult for Summer who will be doing her best this week to keep her mother's secret under wraps. There will be someone else either Phyllis herself or the EMT who will supply Jack with information. It's also possible that Jack's caller could be someone completely different.
