The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Murders Jeremy
Stark tries to strong-arm his new wife and force romance with disastrous results

Jeremy threatens Phyllis
Monday on The Young and the Restless Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) tries to strong-arm Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and clearly, he does not know who he is dealing with. He tells her she had no business going to the memorial service and makes veiled threats. He assures her that if she returns to her family she will be arrested and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will go free, asking if that's what she really wants. Stark does his best to keep his wife in line but it's too late.
Phyllis was truly moved by the memorial service and the loving things that were said about her by her family and friends. She tells Jeremy that she cannot go on allowing her children Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalatti (Michael Graziatti) to think she is dead and says she will take the blame for everything that has happened. Stark says it will never work and points out that no one will believe Phyllis was the mastermind behind the ambulance crash and the fake burned bodies.
The Young and the Restless viewers, however, can see that "Red" is determined to have it her way and not about to do anything that her spouse suggests. Jeremy wants her to leave town and says he will join her after Diane's trial implying that there could be something between them when they meet again. On Thursday Phyllis seemed gleeful after watching Diane being arrested but now seems to have had a change of heart about her recent actions.
Jack and Kyle are frantic to help Phyllis
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are frantic to prove Diane is innocent because she may not make bail based on her past history of running away. Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) told Jack that her hands are tied and that she has to follow the evidence which leads straight to Diane. Kyle is worried that if they do not help his mother that his marriage could soon be over and he argues with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) accusing him of misleading Summer into thinking Diane murdered her mother.
Jeremy's life comes to an end
Back with Phyllis and Jeremy she stands her ground and says she is not afraid of him and he backs her against the wall. He tells her she is his wife and that there is a price she has to pay. He closes in on her as if he is going to force himself on her and the camera goes back to Jack and Kyle. When they are shown again Jermy has been wrapped in a sheet and is lying on the floor. Phyllis is wearing a hoody and bends down to pick up a bloody pair of scissors so there is no doubt about what has transpired.
As she stands she looks traumatized Y&R viewers can see her face is splattered with her husband's blood. There were no scissors in sight when they were talking earlier so something happened that led Phyllis to grab those scissors and use them as a weapon of self-defense. What's not clear is if Phyllis killed Jeremy to prevent him from raping her or if she murdered him after the deed was done.
She manages to pull herself together and is about to walk out the door when she stops before touching the door nob and prepares to leave her dead spouse behind as the scene ends. Spoilers for The Young and the Restless indicate that Chance will find Stark's dead body and at least he will know that Diane is locked up and could not have done it. How long will it take him to figure out that Phyllis is alive and Diane is innocent?
